Seems adequately thick and mine came with seams on both sides so no issues with fraying. Using it as a high temp insulation wrap so not adding resin and can't comment on how well it works in that use case.

I used it to reinforce my kayak using the technique of Stitch and glue...really convinient: ligth, Strong, and avoid the mess of cutting stripes as i used to do with fiberglass mat.

I found this cloth tape to do the job I intended it for. I was able to repair the damage on my fiberglass canoe. I would purchase again.

The product does not do well with resin repair. The sticking on the side will not flatten as it should when wetted with resin. The photo shows that one side would lay flat while the other could not be flattened.Item description indicates use in repair of fiberglass. It will require additional sanding and reporting for a smooth finish.Additionally from the factory the roll was secured using a glue substance that soaked into several layers. Approx 3 feet had to be discarded. A simple rubber band would secure the loose end of the roll without causing damage.

There’s nothing wrong with this product, ignore negative reviews from people who have no experience with use of fiberglass.

But it did the job I needed done - applied it around some HVAC duct system that was covered with mastic and applied another coat of mastic over the fiberglass cloth.
