Osprey Foam Surfboard, Perfect for Beginners, Lightweight & Durable with Bold Design

I have used this surf board for nearly a year now, I have the 9ft+ board which is great for really heavy users. It does need waxing but is really worth the investment for the hours of fun and exercise. It does fit on the roof of a car with soft surf board straps.

This board has to be the best value for money ever. I am new to surfing at the age of 51 and 5'10 @15 stone. This board is like a small flat barge and makes the learning process fun and easier than any other board I have tried. It is huge make no mistake at just over 9 feet and quite ungainly to carry given its thickness and width but these are the very qualities that allow you to get up and stay up. I love it and hope to have a great summer and autumn with it not sure about winter yet as bloody cold. If you are looking to learn and are on the larger size or just old and rickety like me then this is the board for you

Great first board some scuffs when it arrived a little soft 6 months on 6 uses, the foam edges are starting to peel away, Update 2nd Opsprey board foam now gone, foam blown up in sun on third outing, these boards are not well made very poor in fact, Osprey customer care is very difficult to get in contact with, Osprey are now offering a replacement Osprey have not refunded this purchase stay away from this seller

Good board but started bubbling and falling apart after first use contacted Osprey. Had to do so three times. They try to arrange collection, but no one turned up on the day they were meant to had a phone call from the collection company on a completely different day when I wasn’t available so been unable to return the board. Would not purchase from them again would not recommend,crap customer service.

Bought the 6ft board. Has a 45L volume, so ideal for lighter adults, came with fins and a leash (so all the essentials!), which makes it hassle-free for beginner surfers. Very good purchase for progressing towards an intermediate level.

This board is great for me as a beginner, I had been using a smaller 6 foot osprey board, after changing to this 9 foot board I am catching more waves and having more fun out in the sea. I am 6 foot and 80kg and surf on the east coast of Scotland and this surfboard is ideal for me.

Had to send first board back as all distorted, 2nd one came with slight damage, but was OK, surfs fine had some dings in it when it came

Arrived in good time and well packaged. Perfect for a beginner board and easy to put together. Just bought the bag to go with it too
