This works very well as a ridge filler and basically neutral nail color for fragile nails. I had been getting regular manicures for years and using gel and then dip powder to maintain color and shape. After several years, I got tired of the time it was taking and money I was spending. But my nails were in pretty bad shape from all the product the nail techs had been using. I tried this at random and at first it was just ok - but now it seems to really keep my nails looking finished and healthy and it definitely smooths them over and removes all the natural ridges. My take is that it just took a little time and I’m crediting this product with the resulting manicured look - even though I’m the one polishing them.

This is a quality product, dried quickly, makes nails look shiny and healthy. It doesn’t chip and comes off easily after a week. Better than a manicure, more natural looking

Adds strength and anti-splitting capability to nails. A friend recommended this nail-care product for my ridged and splitting fingernails. It's excellent and long-lasting (even after 2 weeks, still looks good and does the job). After clipping/filing nails (assuming the polish still looks good), I re-polished just the newly filed edges for continued strength. No more catching of rough nail tips on clothing, etc.!

It's a good feeler for nails that are not smooth. Helps make the nails stronger. You can use on your nails without any other color. Easy to use and drys quickly.

This product is impossible to remove. As you can see from the photo, the polish has adhered to the center of my nail bed. I have soaked my nails in acetone numerous times but the product will not come off.I bought this item over two months ago. I also bought the top coat and cuticle oil. I followed the directions exactly. I even called Dermelect’s customer service to make sure that I was using the products correctly. I told them that this polish cannot be removed and they advised soaking in acetone - but it does not remove the polish. Now I have to go to a nail salon to see if they can remove this polish from my nails. They look awful. A waste of time and money.

Goes on smoothly, fills nail ridges well, and has a very nice subtle pink sheen with three coats.

This product does conceal ridges but it does not do as good of a job of that as Dermelect's "Camo-Nude".Some will like the color more because it is pinker, but for my older skin, it is not flattering.It wears off more than it chips off, which makes it easy to keep adding new coats. The same thing makes it easier on the nails than normal polish.I suspect that the primary reason it helps the health of the nails somewhat is that it protects them from water. Water on nails, and hair for that matter, tends to break down the keratin. Thus the age old advice to wear gloves when cleaning and doing dishes.At first, I thought it was rebuilding my tattered, chipping, tearing, splitting, flaking, and dull, powdery nails. Alas, only a little. But the ability to add coats without constantly using drying polish remover does help a bit, especially if one consistently uses the product while the nail grows out.Bottom line is that it that value for the price is lacking.
