Super responsive, spin great, man yoyos today are great.
I learned some beginner yoyo tricks as a kid, and bought these to show my kids (and to have fun, let's be real). These are SO responsive. Give these a good throw, and they come back up with the slightest tug. Definitely not for long string tricks, but I'm stupid excited to try some looping tricks and learn to yoyo with both hands at the same time. I love that this is a 2-pack for $15, so it's like why not try to learn both at the same time, YOU HAVE 2! I may fail miserably, but at least I have 2 great yoyos.

Great advanced-level yo-yo, but reviewer tends to ramble.
First of all, this is an unresponsive yo-yo (in case this is the only review you read). This means you need to do a trick to get the yo-yo to come back up, not just tug the string. Great for advanced tricks and practicing, terrible for "looping".I've been having a lot of fun with this; it's my first unresponsive yo-yo and learning the bind took some time, but it lead directly to learning other, flashier tricks. It will sleep a ridiculous period of time if left to hang (I haven't timed it personally since I'm usually swinging it on and off its string), so you get a few shots at learning how to mount it. The finish is good as well; I've bounced it off the ceiling several times and the debris comes right off... Don't tell my wife.I picked this yo-yo for two main reasons: 1) The price was great for the reviews I read 2) It didn't lie to me. I'll elaborate on #2 a bit: A few other products I researched were very vague about the skill level required, or even had reviews that suggested people were picking this up as a child's first yo-yo and the kid was having no issues... I find these claims dubious at best. No such claims made on this one, "Unresponsive" is in the title of the product, and the only possibly misleading thing was the image of the yo-yo in front of a mountain (pro-tip, it won't spin long enough to climb a mountain). For what it's worth: I bought this to play with something while my 5-year-old learns with his cheap bushing-based novelty yo-yo. Do not let this, or any other unresponsive unit, be your child's first yo-yo. Additionally, when you get a yo-yo for a kid, you should size the string appropriately. This is a great page for tips on starting:[...]

A definite example of approachable performance
So, I prefer to call myself a throw enthusiast. So much so I have developed my take on an older tradition. ( Or at least, one of the favorites I remembered.) I created a company taking professional competition flagship/ inspired yoyos of all types and hand modify them. Some of which have come out absolutely ludicrous being the fastest of their kind. Magic yo has always been a long time favorite, everything I have gotten from them has been satisfying right out the box. The K1, K2P, K7, Y02, N11, now the M002 April, and man it is way better then I could have imagined. I even ordered one for my stepson who plays unresponsive extremely well for a 6 year old. It's perfect weight feeling solid but still fast agile and floaty, and let me tell you is has a long powerful spin. The power delivery allows me to be Able to put down a decent combo with just simply toss. Now giving it an actual power throw oh man does it rip!!! I recommend this to anyone wanting to break into bi metal yoyos. At its price, makes it a top preformer!! Thanks again Magic yoyo and thank you Amazon, will be getting one in the purple with the brass ring.🤯😁🫡

M002 is a Great Intro to Semi Bi-Metals
I got the M002 April unresponsive yoyo. What's really nice about this is that it has an inner aluminum weight ring, so you kind of get the advantage of a semi bi-metal, without the higher cost. The inner ring adds a nice additional amount of weight to the rings themselves, so you get more stability, and longer spin times. The bind was a little slippery at times, but I've found that to happen sometimes with the heavier yogos in general anyways. It does have a nice heft to it, so if that is more your play style, you should really enjoy it. All in all, it's a great bi-metal-ish practice yoyo for sure. Additionally, what's extra awesome, is you get the little yo-yo holder strap holder as well, which is really cool to have if you're going out and about. You can just clip it quickly to your belt loop, or pack, and you're good to go. All in all, this is a solid offering for certain. While it's not my all time favorite, it's still pretty up there. Definitely recommended!

Bought the d1 pair for my two sons. The yoyos themselves are decent, but the strings are horrible. They wear out very fast. Meaning they tear at the bottom. Think one of my sons used it for like 5 minutes before the string busted. Can't recommend based off of the low quality of strings. Hence why they give so many extras. Might as well buy one yoyo with a quality string.
