Rarely do I give any comments to anything I buy on-line... but this ones deserves it... This product is made in China however it says it is made "Strictly by Toledo Co. Specifications"... American design and American customer service is what stands out for me. The brass components are thick and smooth functioning. I will use this for exterior application... I am not sure how well the steel outer casing will stand up to rust...but the advertisement says it is made to last.... I guess only time will tell. I almost thought it would not work for me because the there was no knob to pull out the lower lock if you are opening from the outside... but I accidentally found out that if you keep turning the key in the direction of opening the upper lock, you will eventually open the lower lock...again this function is only available if you are opening from the outside... On the inside, you will use the brass pull out knob.... This design I think , makes it even more secure... if you you are not familiar to this type of lock.To add to this excellent design, Toledo sent me a simple but very important free gift.. a set of lock picks! Again, this is exemplary of American customer service! The lock picks are made in USA!

Haven't installed the gate lock yet but it seems to have a decent bolt action and looks fairly made for the money. Most importantly, its a configuration not found at the big box stores.

Doesn’t fit much of anything and attempted to return and shipping was ridiculous.
