I wasn't sure about spending $30 on a shaker but I use mine between 4-6 times a day. That is a lot of shaking and cleaning of components. This cup is easy to clean and is basically just like a regular cup with lid when it comes to cleaning it. The holder for your protein or pre/post is nice and makes life easy if your on the go. the cup is pretty cool looking as well and feel durable. you can tell its going to hold up and not fall apart on you. I like it as well because it mixes things a lot better and thus you don't get any of the build up at the bottom from everything not completely mixing. Also ensures protein is mixed very good and makes it smoother.I read a few reviews about the mixer being plastic and if it would hold up of not. First, yes it is plastic but there is nothing wrong with that. Shouldn't be a issue unless your jamming a cleaning tool inside of it when you wash it. Then it might break at some point.Now for one of the biggest questions I saw- Can you mix ice in it? The answer to that is yes but I wouldn't try it with thicker ice. I have a ice machine that makes ice like the sonic ice. After I mix the drink I add a scoop or 2 of that ice and then lightly push the button and it mixes it at about 50% power. Works great and i have no worries about it breaking the mixer. That type of ice breaks up easy versus the solid made ice that probably could damage the mixer.Overall its a great mixer and worth the money. You will get some comments about being lazy and if you don't use a shaker multiple times a day then it probably is lazy but who cares if you like it.

This PROMiXX iX-R has been great to date. It has an intelligent design and is easy to clean, use, and to recharge when necessary. I'd purchased an earlier version of the PROMiXX several years ago and this one is about twice as powerful.It holds a good volume of fluid and liquid and mixes the content of protein shakes quickly and really well. The vortex action in the liquid draws the content from the surface down into the plastic blades for thorough mixing. Don't even need to put the cover on when mixing as nothing flies out of the top.I also like that the cup has measurement marks to track how much you're pouring into it which is convenient if you're controlling intake.I just sit it on the counter, fill the cup, press the 'On' button, and let it run about 10 seconds. All good. I generally use it every day.Lately, I'm filling it with pasteurized liquid egg whites, cold spring water, chocolate or vanilla whey protein powder (maybe some ground cinnamon in the vanilla!) and it yields a really smooth protein shake.I don't think it's intended for ice or heavier contents like fruit. I may give it a try for quick and easy scrambling of eggs.

Had it for a couple of days , love it but dropped it on gym bathroom floor , contacted Amazon about getting replacement lid , they're only help was contact retailer, in a day I had an email from retailer asking where I purchased from and order# I sent information they didn't recognize Amazon and asked for invoice # i sent same day I got an email from Customer service saying how sorry she was I was dissatisfied with product, I sent an email I loved it but I dropped it and it broke she once again apologized and assured me she was sending a whole new unit. Is that incredible or what... hats off to Promixx and outstanding product, only thing better is their Customer Service

I managed to drop it from a small distance during the first week and the bottom piece chipped, but it was so small and so far on the bottom that I thought it was fine. Fast forward a few weeks and my battery died because the small chip turned into a larger crack along the bottom and started leaking. Besides the initial small drop, I've taken excellent care of it.That being said I love the way it mixes my powders, so even though I saw the increased price since I first bought, I bought another one and I'll be more aware of its durability issues.Update: Dropped the second one the first time I was using it, but now I know why I'm dropping it so easily. The handle design on the cap is flawed compared to other bottles. It's extremely tiny, so you can't even get a finger in which results in you pinching it to lift it. Because of the bad placement of the opening to the cover lip, moving (even small distances) with your fingers pinching the handle causes the opening to push on the back of your pinched fingers open, thus releasing your hold on it. There is no grip mechanism and it's too small to insert a finger in.I also added a picture so you can see how "durable" the bottle is. As you can see the initial tiny chip from dropping it is on the bottom, but the crack that formed and grew after is several times bigger than the chip.

Update 10/17/19....Customer service is awesome! The company reached out to me right away and sent me a new Promixx with the correct rechargeable battery. I already loved the mixer for my protein shakes, this is by far the best service I’ve ever recieved. I will buy from Thai company’s again. Thank you Promixx for making this transaction right...❤️❤️❤️I ordered this one when I accidentally dropped my other promixx at work and the lip broke. I love my promixx and use it all the time so I couldn’t live without it. However, when this one arrived...it said it’s an iXR but the bottle is a promixx 2. So the rechargeable part of the mixer does not fit the bottle and won’t turn the blade inside the cup. Luckily, I kept the rechargeable part of my other bottle and it fit it perfectly. The black spinner part of the new one does not come out far enough to make the bottle mix. The rechargeable part of the new bottle says it’s a promixx ixr and the old rechargeable part says promixx 2. This needs to be addressed with the company but I can’t figure out how to do that. I also want a new bottom charger since that’s what i am sure the big cost of the bottle comes from. There’s no way to contact the company with regards to this issue. If they fix it I will change my stars to 5 stars.
