Great for keeping your rope tip top
My friend and I ran our ropes through twice with rope wash and got a lot of gunk and dirt off. I would recommend for rope upkeep and safety. Durable and easy to manage but better if you have two people; one to hold it and the other to pull the rope through.

Dirty rope
I’m not sure this did a whole lot more than just putting it in the bath

Works as intended, I think
There's not a whole lot to say about this. It's a spiral brush. There are several different ones from other brands available but I chose to get this one because they make ropes so, theoretically know how to care for them. I don't know how this compares to others but I was a little surprised that my rope didn't come a little cleaner. I used this in conjunction with a rope cleaning solution, following the soaking directions and then ran out through the brush several times. The rope looks a little cleaner and the slightly dirty water in the tub is evidence that some dirt came off but I was expecting more. I am going to defer to the rope company's expertise but it seems like a firmer bristle would work better. I think if I was to do it over again I would get one of the cheaper ones that are probably identical and don't come with the cost of the brand name.
