Still very comfortable after a year's use!
I bought this mattress over a year ago and I still get a great night's sleep. Unfortunately, I have to use a hospital bed and the mattresses that comes with those are awful! I needed something in my price range and this fit. After reading a lot of reviews, I decided on this one and am glad I did. I can no longer sleep on my side because of shoulder pain. Usually sleeping on my back caused it to hurt, but not with this mattress. I can sleep all night without pain! Even after a year, it's still comfortable with no sagging at all. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.

I find it to be a good mattress for someone who's constantly changing positions while sleeping
Never tried a boxed mattress before, but the rock bottom price on Prime Day made me decide to give it a go. I move around constantly at night, and I've generally gone softer to spare my back when on my side. But that means my back gets sore when I'm on my stomach. When I saw in reviews that it says firm but it's actually in the mid range, I decided to try this one. And I am very satisfied. Arrived in a box, inflated violently. It says to wait 48 hours to expand, I slept on it after about 12 and it was fine. There is a little bit of a smell, but it fades faster than 12 hours. It's definitely not a firm mattress, but also not soft. Right in the middle somewhere. And I can sleep on both my side and stomach without getting a back ache. And even the regular price is low enough versus a mattress store mattress that even if it only lasts half as long I'll come out ahead.

Great mattress for the price for the RV
I needed a bed and fast for an upcoming camping trip in the RV. I had a leak and threw away my old bed right before I was to leave on a trip. I wasn't sure what to do but Amazon was able to get this bed to me in like 3 or 4 days. The Fed Ex guy delivered it to my yard the day we were leaving and we carried it down to the camper and threw the box in to hit the road. I didn't know what to expect because I never had a bed that was this cheap before that came in such a small box. I wish that I was there for the unboxing... I was attending a function the night we got there and my fiance came running in a panic. He exclaimed that he thought that the bed almost tore the camper cabinets off the wall. It must have exploded into shape right when he cut the last cord on the packaging. I don't usually see him that animated but it was hilarious for him to be that worked up about anything. He said that the people outside the camper probably thought that he was shooting a gun off in the camper. He said that each spring made a really loud popping sound as it unrolled. The bed is definitely comfortable enough for the camper for the handful of times that I will get to sleep on it. I like that it is not as thick as some of the mattresses that we have in other places because I will likely be moving it around when I remodel the camper. You can definitely tell that there are springs in the bed when you are crawling across it on your knees but it has enough padding over them while you are sleeping to not notice. I feel like it is supportive and firm enough but not too hard to be uncomfortable. I previously had a tempurpedic style for a few years and I'm definitely back to preferring a spring-style mattress if I had the choice. Overall for the quickness of shipping and the cost, I would purchase it again. I think that if I drove to my local discount store (like thinking Big Lots?) to try to buy a bed, it would have definitely cost more than this one... and it wouldn't have been any more comfortable.

Very comfortable and great quality!
I never write reviews for products but I know I absolutely have to for this one! This bed is amazing. We really needed a mattress and I was hesitant to purchase one that was so low in price but I had a budget and had to stick to it. So I went for it. It came quickly and set up was super easy. 2 days after opening it (it’s important to let it air out!) we set it up. The bed was so comfortable! I went ahead and added an extra pillow top pad for added comfort. If you can splurge and buy one to go on top you definitely should but I don’t think it’s necessary. My back usually hurts from any mattress and I’ve slept on the couch for over 10 years. I can now officially sleep in a bed without back pain! The mattress is firm and high quality but also comfortable and squishy because of its built in pillow top. (Again, I need to add I did put on an extra pillow top. But that’s not necessary!) If you need a mattress you should definitely consider this one!

Only buy the 2 thicker versions, the 8" isn't good
I've moved a lot & have had to purchase 3 of these same mattresses in 5-yrs. The thicker mattresses are the best I've ever slept on, including a $1,500 mattress I once owned. Here's my breakdown: I bought the 12" first. Blissfully comfortable, but I'm a small girl & at 70-lbs (more than 1/2 my body weight) could barely get it inside my door, out of the box & into the bedroom, then on top of a frame... took 1-1/2 hrs. I also couldn't easily turn the mattress with use... took 20-min for me to do it alone. For that reason alone, I next bought... ... the 10" version. Same as above with comfort, but at 60-65 lbs, same thing. Hard for me to set up & move around without back strain. Then, I got this 8" version, mainly as it was cheaper & I know I'll be leaving it behind again next year. I hate it. I like a supportive mattress with not much give, but love pillow/soft tops, like these mattresses, for that reason... firm underneath, soft support on top. This mattress is about 50-lbs, so easier to move, although it is a bit flimsy & catches on the carpeting & begins to fold in half... it's a pain in the ah... soul... to move around alone. It's mid-level to soft, so if that's what you like, you'll love it. As an example, you could fold this mattress & tie it up if moving... with 2, you'd be able to roll it & tie down. With the 10-12" mattresses, that's not possible. Additionally, it is not comfortable at all to use the bed to sit up & watch movies or work on the computer, as it's too soft to support the lumbar area of the back & I get back pain quickly... I did not have that problem with either the 10 or 12". So, if you need this for a kid, guest room or someone who likes a softer mattress (my senior mom would love it), it's great. I can't imagine 2 people could sleep on this comfortably for any length of time, unless they're house guests because there'd be too much give. Can't wait to leave this behind... my heart usually breaks when I have to discard a brand new mattress... but, I'll bet I could roll this one up & haul it to the trash chute with a dolly on my own. I'd say skip it, if it will be your nightly bed. 3* out of 5, cuz it's still a good product... but, I really give it a 1*. I'd continue to buy this brand cuz it's great, but never a thinner mattress.

ABSOLUTELY REGRET PURCHASE - like another customer
PROS: fantastic delivery compact packaging, 'fair for price', quick delivery due to Amazon online service, set up easy and manageable by one person. Firmness is 'ok' even for platform bed, but it is not as firm as high end mattresses marked as firm. CONS: HORRIBLE CHEMICAL/ PLASTIC/ LATEX type odor. Left it unrolled and in an empty bedroom for a little over 1 week before setting up in my bed as a replacement mattress. My room then took on such a strong odor, I used a room air conditioner, a fan, a separate room air quality cleaner plus a small diffuser for 9 hrs as even my pets were not fond of the odor. It seemed to finally smell better by late night. Slept one night on it- and firmness was ok at first, but I DID NOT GET RESTFUL SLEEP. Woke at 6am, and by 10a this AM, I am feeling hung over from lack of sleep. Plus I currently have some spinal issues causing pinched nerves and I woke up worse. My last mattress hit the 14 yr mark and I had held off replacing due to covid and finances - and maybe it is me because that was an organic cotton 12" hybrid high end type-- plus my nose and allergies are rather overly sensitive to chemicals- but I have never felt so duped and hate to say so, but definitely lost any trust in Amazon or the mattress brand Ashley on this purchase. I take responsibility for fact I broke my own rule and purchased a mattress online, without seeing first. Worst mistake ever -- -and a loss of nearly $300 with taxes even if on prime when I really cannot afford to do so. I have an orthopedic visit soon- and now I may have to use my old mattress or go to a furniture store and buy on a plan - - because this is not do-able. I feel badly that Ashley company and their employees worked hard to make this and delivery drivers worked hard to ship it here, but it simply is a lower end mattress and for someone who has been having slight back issues, this is not an option. I now have no choice but to keep as a spare (and maybe it will not affect guests if I need to use it for guests)-- and be out of the money paid--- but I guess today, under $300 for a mattress and I did in fact get what I paid for. (as I wrote in PROS, that part is actually fair). DO NOT BUY IF YOU NEED A QUALITY MATTRESS, HAVE ALLERGIES, OR CANNOT TOLERATE CHEMICAL ODORS.

Great porch bed!
My husband built me a “floating bed” on our screened in back porch. I had a terrible time finding the right mattress for my little piece of heaven. At first we used a thin mattress and added the spongy egg crate foam to try to make it more comfortable. It just wasn’t working. I saw this mattress and saw the price, 8” thickness, and good reviews ..... I was sold! So glad I did. It comes in a tall rectangular box, kinda heavy, and rolled up in plastic wrap. I would strongly advise to get your mattress where you want it, or at least the vicinity of where you’re putting it, before cutting the plastic open. As soon as air hits the inside of the mattress starts to grow, rapidly! It’s not the lightest or easiest thing to maneuver after it’s fully “inflated”. I slept on it last night, since the weather was perfect, and slept really well! It was comfortable and did not hurt my back like most mattresses do. It wasn’t too soft or too hard......just right. I would purchase again. Especially for an extra bedroom, child's room or even a vacation home. With our back issues I’m not sure if it would be a good Full Time mattress for an adult. However I don’t know that for sure since my purchase was not for everyday use.

Actually FIRM and we'll built
This is a solid well built 11 inch true to size mattress , please pass up the 8 inch it's not the same workmanship and not worth the few dollars you'd save I owned the mattress it's so flimsy. I am satisfied with my purchase of this limited edition 11 inch . You will need two people to move it around. I took this photo 4 or 5 minutes after all plastic had been removed this is how fast the mattress inflated it's quite hard which is what I paid for a true firm mattress .
