There are a lot of Five star reviews here and they are mostly the same. This made me think that there was something fishy going on. I just bit the bullet and bought it anyway because of the price compared to similar products, It arrived on time, the package includes a whole set of cleaning tools and the camera has a long USB/Mico cable. Set up is easy, up and running in minutes.Some negative reviews are not accurate (May be due to product update):It does work with Windows 10, I did see another review that said it doesn't. incorrect too. The software is not not sketchy at all, but it's FPS and lag is not good. This does work with any camera app, Windows camera software is much faster for real time feed back and the image quality is better. For other camera software like Media Player Classic. VLC, YawCam. YouCam...etc. be sure to change the video steam to to PAL.Product use:Getting use to the orientation of the camera takes practice. The amazing thing is the magnification, it is like having a portable microscope. If you ever tried to navigate with a microscope camera, then you'll understand why navigation is difficult and why you need a really steady hand. You maybe tempted to push in to the ear canal, this is not necessary. Put the device just outside the ear canal and shine the light in. You will be able to see your ear drum. slowly move in to get a closer look. The latency lag with the default software is terrible. For windows 10, I recommend the windows store camera or some other Hardware accelerated software. The attachments are for cleaning but they do also help illuminate the inside of the ear. If the attachment obscures your view too much, look in your ear without the attachment.Cleaning:My ears have been itching too frequently. I had a look and saw that my ears did not have wax, but there was a lot of dry flakey skin. I used the sticky attachment and was able to clean it all up. You can get close to the ear drum, but if you have impacted wax next to the ear drum, you should see a doctor to have it removed. This attachments for this device are not meant for probing close to the ear drum, which is a good thing for safety reasons. If you have a steady hand and want to clean right up to your ear drum, then you should purchase a more professional kit, but that is pricy.

Solid, does its job. About as good as I could expect. With a mac, it's super easy to use (not even any software to install, works straight from quicktime). The 3-in-one usb, micro-usb, usb-c cable is great and all connected (no pieces to lose).A few notes:- Depth of field (DOF) should be deeper (so that more of the image can be in focus at the same time).- The LEDs around the camera tip get warm and can get uncomfortable after a while (I need to turn the power down to make it acceptable, luckily that's easy)- It can be hard to tell which way is up, a divet or some notch or flat piece on the barrel/handle of the camera could help keep it straight (right now, I need to take it out and align it to the horizon.- The attachments are pretty much uniformly useless. If you want to remove wax seriously, you need to have separate control over the tool and camera (when they move in tandem it's very hard to use). Check out how the professionals do it (there are plenty of youtube videos).- Cleaning is complicated slightly by the fact that the little window at the tip is recessed slightly into the barrel (like about ~0.3mm) so it's hard to clean out fully. (also, the silver rings near the tip of the barrel are also slightly recessed, again requiring detailed cleaning).

I tried this on my phone and computer and neither would work. I have a Samsung S7 that could never get the camera to activate. I tried on my Windows 7 computer with more success. The camera came on but the image was so blurry making it worthless. If you can't see what you are looking at then whats the point. I didn't save any pictures but look at other reviews. Their images are blurry but still better than what I was getting. I never used the attachments since the scope never worked properly.One other thing was the scope looked used. I suspect someone returned this due to its poor performance and I received it. This item is defective and I do not recommend and will be returning it.

This tool helo me get a better idea of whats wrong with my kiddos. I used to go to the doctor alot because i thought my kids had eat underground since they would tug on they're ears often. But now I'm able to look inside and see if i really need top GO top the doctor. Connects just fine to my android phone just fine and the little camera is so powerful. It's a little tricky to get an image buscado you need to position it in a way that e camera is not too close so it can focus. But once you can get the hang of it, it is amazing. Ypu can see hair particles hairs. We're even able to see into the mouth . Just make sure you supervise your kiddos if they ate cooking too lazy with it as they get very excited. Great sturdy material, and the camera and was rounded so it was comfortable fpr going in the ear.

This otoscope lasted 7 months. Sometimes the live picture quality was bad and you had tap on it to get it to clear up. The photo quality was always slightly blurry making it difficult to share it with the dr. Over time the live picture are got smaller and smaller no matter how well it was cleaned. Over all, it did what I needed, just not what I wanted.
