Pricey but worth it
I got this for my 11" Celestron scope so that I could start using 2" eyepieces. While this is a bit pricey I really am happy at how well it performs. It fits perfectly for my scope. It just makes it so easy to change things out. Once the 1.25" to 2" adapter gets back in stock I plan to order it, even though the adapter that I have works good. Its just so much easier with this adapter.

One size fits all kinda
The description of this product shows that it is a 3.25" SCT thread. IT IS NOT!! Baader told me they do not make them to size any more. Celestron is 3.29 and Meade is 3.25 so now they make them all 3.29 so they fit both. So on my Meade it is really sloppy. Barely fits the threads. I had to use some pipe thread tape to make it fit better.As far as how it functions once it is on there I would say it works outstanding.

A Really Nice Addition!
I've heard so many good things about these click lock units, and it has totally lived up to the hype and it's well deserved reputation. Holds the heaviest of "everything" with a simple twist and allows for quick and easy rotational adjustments without releasing the nosepiece/tube/etc. with extreme confidence that none of those expensive tidbits will be hitting the ground. Very worth while addition. Using the 2" version mounted to the back of a Celestron CPC 925 Edge HD.

Attached easily to the back of my Celestron 11 inch CPC ...
Attached easily to the back of my Celestron 11 inch CPC but the threads do not quite match. However, it does screw on far and securely enough to hold the eyepieces/diagonals securely. It is really nice to lock inn an eyepiece with a simple twist and release them the same way.

A brilliant design and a great improvement to my telescope.
Works great. This is designed for large SCT's such as my Celestron Edge HD1100. The problem with the oem adapter is that it is very difficult to change the orientation of the star diagonal to make looking through the eyepiece comfortable. With this one it's absolutely simple, and can easily be done with gloves on. And because it's s simple and easy, you don't worry about accidentally flinging the eyepiece and diagonal to the ground. I highly recommend this.

Does not fit Meade SCT 3.25" threads
This does not fit the Meade 3.25" external SCT threads. It is so loose that you can rock it back and forth until the last half turn.
