It works well, but not the best solution for security.
I purchased and set up this mount about 5 weeks ago after my truck was broken into.A few days ago a prospective thief came by and pushed the camera up.I have it mounted about 12-15 feet in the air. My best advice is to get something dome style to prevent this and a second camera pointing back underneath the first. I mainly purchased it to be a deterrent at our business when cars are parked overnight. Unfortunately the thieves are a bit emboldened.Another solution is to potentially mount the thing higher or in a location with only one approach. The problem with higher is you won't get a clear recording with wyze cams (even 15ft is too high for detail in someones face) and in my situation there are multiple approaches and no way to rectify that. All said though, in a way it did the job. It notified me to my phone when it was moved, woke me up and I called the cops who lost the guy between blocks, unfortunately. But still. That thief knows it's actively monitored (and I woke up at 3am because he came back so recently I was still sleeping lightly).Dome style 1080p camera's are not that expensive and they have wireless solutions similar to wyze. Or go the poe route if you are doing a bunch of cameras to save money. POE isn't that bad even for a novice if you are willing to spend a little bit of time searching google and forum sites for help if you get stuck. The cost of this mount+wyze+sdcard is about $50. That's where this setup wins. For a decent wireless dome camera double that price to $100. Less if you can go poe and hardwired route but still around $50 and you have to have the switch and cat5e on hand. For my situation it would have been better to spend the extra money. For something where you haven't had a thief stop by before and just want piece of mind, a neighborhood kid deterrent, or indoor mounting situations (keep that glass clean!) this will work great and is inexpensive to boot.So I can't fault it too much for not meeting my needs--I just was hoping not to have to invest too much in a security solution. Unfortunately now I'm paying more to buy the wrong product first and the right product after. And if you do go this route for an outdoor mount I would suggest buying some epoxy and using it to permanently lock the mount in place so that more then a light nudge will move it. Maybe even some steel angle bracket and custom making the bracket that attaches to the wall with large steel bolts set to the angle you want and use thread locker to seal in place... but thats probably beyond a hobbiest's ability and starts to add more to the cost if you don't have a grinder or other cutting tool on hand. It's kind of too bad there is no steel or dome style mount for the wyze cam but ah well.Hope this helps someone considering their options!

Nice little mounts. Worked perfect for my setup.
This mount seems weather resistant enough, have had a few storms with no issues.Install:I didn't like other methods I found, so I ended up using the following:"Leviton 1306 15A 125V socket","Sigma Electric, White 14236WH 1/2-Inch 4 Hole Round Extension Ring","Wyze Camera Wall Mount Bracket, Mrount Protective Cover with Security Wall Mount for Wyze Cam V2",I had a 1/2-Inch Clamp Type Connector to keep the wire secureEverything was easy to install using this setup. I was able to hide the power adapter the camera comes with in the Round Extension Ring, and feed the USB cable out of the ring to the camera mount. Using the clamp makes everything secure.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003AULTMAhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C3YDGL6https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076H3SRXG

Very Satisfied
Very affordable. Does exactly what I wanted. My son installed this in his home, and mine after I saw how it performed for him. He did this one evening while visiting from out of town for the holidays. He was already familiar with the app and it was easy for me to use after his setup. He mounted one on the front porch and the back of the garage. Hiding the cords and plugs were a small challenge. He placed a plastic baggie with the extension plug inside on the garage and I do have an extension cord running into the exterior garage door but the security is worth it to me - the extra long extension cords are worth it and we could have used one more. The motion and sound detectors work very well and I can set the sensors to send notifications whenever I want, easily from the app. My interior foyer camera is set to pan every 10 seconds so I can see front and rear entrances. I added one in a room where my pets sleep so I can drop in and see them when I’m away. I placed this one on a nightstand and turn it to the wall when I’m at home. I like being able to use the voice feature and being able to hear. The motion sensors pick up cars driving by but I like being able to see when cars pull in and packages are left at my door. The “event” captures are brief but I was easily able to view the playback to see more. It’s also nice to be able to hear the garage doors going up and down so I don’t have to wonder if we closed the garage doors. I plan to purchase 2 more SD cards for the interior cameras to be able to use the playback feature inside as well as outside. My security system was installed 21 years ago so this is a nice supplement with the added audio and video features. I highly recommend this product, mostly because you just plug them in. The sensors will detect bugs, birds and chipmunks and lights and you can hear wind and rain - even picks up shadows of tree limbs swaying. All in all we are very satisfied so far. Shipping was prompt. I was lucky to have a techy son with experience with setting it up so I can’t say much about the ease of that but he did it in a couple of hours, including mounting the exterior cameras and setting up the app.

Best looking outdoor cover for the WyzeCam and Neos SmartCam
I have a few of these outside with the UK version, Neos SmartCam. Working well under eaves with a bit of sealant added to where the cable goes in.

Es buena para exteriores, pero necesita estar en espacios cubiertos para que no le entre agua
Es buena, pero no para intemperie, falta que selle para que no le entre agua
