I was having issues with my Ryobi String Trimmer (Only a few years old). Diagnosed the issue to the cheap carb. and was going to try and rebuild it (Really all you can do with these is take apart and clean). Still wasn't running great after but was improved. Found this item on Amazon and man what a difference. Great price, really simple to install, and now runs great again. With these cheap little carbs, you almost have to run the premix fuel (Ready Mix) instead of mixing yourself. That will really increase the life span.

I put this carb. on a Troy Bilt BT-22EC trimmer/edger and it preformed perfect right out of the box. I did not have to turn it at all. It started right up. the price and fast shipping was great.

I bought this carburetor after reading the answer to the only question thus far asking if the gasket was included.The answer was, "Yes, this comes with gasket".The unit does NOT come with a gasket, I cannot find a gasket locally, so needing to use my trimmer I had to fabricate a gasket. Not real difficult but a pain. Otherwise a five rating.Carburetor works fine.

Exact factory replacement from what I could tell. Engine fired right up and ran just like when new.

My trimmer stopped working so I contacted Ryobi and they told me to clean the carb. No luck. Went to home depot and they told me to change the fuel lines. No luck. Went back to HD again and they tried to sell me a carb repair so I went online and found this carb. Installed it easily and it works better than new. I guess the third time is the charm after all.

Was a perfect replacement for the Ryobi RY253SS. Looks well built and worked without issue first time.

I was drudged with my trimmer not starting up after a while and kept using sea foam or carb cleaner to temporarily fix it. This was a 2 minute install and now my trimmer starts right up
