The Pros on this Filter, are that it definitely increased air flow, allowing my engine to breath easier, and the cost for a lifetime filter, was reasonable. It creates a different sound when the throttle is opened up, like a throttle body opening up without a filter at all.The Con part of it was how it fit. Everything was okay, EXCEPT for the height, which is about 3/16 an inch too tall and the breather lid will not close completely, leaving a tiny gap near the top, all the way around. I suppose I could crush the filter slightly to make it fit, which I probably will do. But the idea of a filter specifically made for that breather, and still not fitting exactly, and for what it cost, is a con to me. With the filter drawing air from the engine through the tiny crack all around under the lid, it allows engine heat to enter, although not much. As I said, I could probably just crush the filter slightly, and it will work. It is just the principle of the whole thing, it should fit without crushing.Overall, I am happy with it, with the increased air flow and it does add some power to the engine.

I purchased this based on recommendations by K&N Engineer however, it unfortunately didn't fit my airbox so I had return it. I've always been a big K&N fan, will remain a fan but unfortunately I'm not able to really provide a viable rating for this other than fitment.

I read about other filters being too tall and not being able to seal up. This one fit great and sealed up nicely. I am looking forward to not changing the air filters each time I do some serious off roading.

Perfect fit for my AMC 258 (4.2L) carburetor. Fits the stock Air intake Canister perfectly. Havent run the engine with it yet, but I have used K&N for years. Great product and tons of airflow as long as u keep maintaining the filter. I run this on a 1990 YJ Wrangler with a 1891 CJ 7 engine and carb.

Haven't had it long enough to be able to give a honest review. And the car is still in and out of shops getting work done on it so I haven't really had a chance to take it out and truly drive it. . 66 Ford. Paint, body, custom exhaust,etc etc......

I put this in my Jeep CJ5 , and it substantially increased the power, and my old air filter was not in bad shape.

Fit my car perfectly and the car feels like it has more power. Happy with this filter.
