The Crocodile Who Didn't like Water

I have at least 4 of Gemma's books. This one I bought because reviews said it was hysterical. But her other book about a dragon who didn't like fire ruined the "funny" about this book. She just swapped character and kept both stories basically the same. I will continue to look for Gemma's books but I din't enjoy anything but the illustrations in this book.

This is the cutest story I've ever read. I actually used it to help teach English to non-native English speakers, and they enjoyed it as well. The artwork is really cute. It's simple, easy to read, and has a WONDERFUL message! <3I like that in the end, the crocodile didn't try to change himself/herself, he/she was OK JUST the way he/she was! <3 We all have our strengths and weaknesses, and it's OK! :)I bought this for my 6-month old nephew, and I hope he will enjoy it for many years to come! ^^I had an adult read it and enjoy the story. So, I think children and parents alike will love this book! :)

This picture book is absolutely adorable. The story is cute, funny, and beautifully illustrated. My storytime kids loved the book and so did the adults. I love it!

It's basically the ugly duckling, but a more entertaining take on the tale. And it's adorable.

This book surprised me. Came across a copy in German, was practicing my German, reading it,and I hooted at the ending.What a plot twist it has!The art is fantastic, too. Surreal and colorful.Am buying a copy here for my grandson who at 3 loves alligators, crocodiles, dragons and dinosaurs.Best modern kids picture I have seen recently .

Love this book! A great book full of hilarious pictures, great writing, and allows you to make a bunch of wild noises. I bought this for my two year old. I think I'm putting it on my bookshelf instead!

This was a wonderful book. Both boys love it... great story.

A lovely book about confidence and the discovery of one's true self. Nicely executed in mixed media on mono prints.Recommended to anyone who wants to buy a sweet and high quality present for a child.

Story and illustrations were okay ( cute interpretation of ugly duckling) but I returned the book since a suspect seller sent me a used book which featured stickers from a donation drive
