This is a great book for a first grade class, I use it for science at school. It is a valuable resource if you are teaching Spanish at the same time you are touching down in content.

This is a simple clear book for intro to rocks. Although the language is at abour 2nd or 3rd grade level, I got it for the great pictures and an easy intro to rocks in the 5th grade unit on geology.I got it in Spanish and English since the class is multi-lingual. Shiny fun pages, clear definitions, and a nice resource if you're not so fluent in rock-ese.
