This pad has so many great features, like the bag to inflate it, and the little pocket to hold the repair kit in the bag.It's also super small when rolled up and easy to inflate and deflate.The surface has a good texture that seems to reduce slip, and it's the perfect size for me.It doesn't make a lot of noise when you adjust your position.Now for the things I don't like...I don't like the way the valve works; When making pressure adjustments the first time, the valve got stuck opened somehow and I had to inflate it again.After I got it inflated again, i found that it's not very comfortable for me. I tried laying on it and adjusting the pressure, but I just couldn't get comfortable. When I got it to where it was acceptable for back sleeping, I turned to my side and hit the ground. I found that it needs to be almost completely full to work well for me.I compared this with the NeoAir XLite. It's really noisy, doesn't come with an inflation bag, doesn't have the little pocket for the repair kit, the top is more slippery, it's a little longer than I need it, and it doesn't pack quite as small, but I love how the valve works, and I can adjust it perfectly to give me the comfort that I'm looking for on my back and side.In the end, I decided to go with this one Exped because is has more positives then negatives, and my wife said there is no way we could use the NeoAir since it just makes too much noise.

Unmatched comfort. Quite light, has insulation, grooves hold sleeping body, isn’t crinkly/noisy, rolls up small and inflates to cushy thickness (inflation bag is simple/brilliant and avoids moisture inside the filling). Worth every penny compared to other sleeping pads (I’ve tried many) if you want to spend. Bought the slightly wider version.

This sleep pad is amazing. I'm comfortable sleeping on either side, and when I'm sleeping on my back. The design is very smart, to cut out weight where it's not needed (the foot area is narrow) - yet gives ample room at the shoulders and hips. The R value is very impressive as well. It is very quiet (not crinkly) compared to other popular brands.I would suggest an improvement regarding the Schnozzel Pumpbag (which is included)...it is supposed to function as a dry bag for your sleeping bag, but it is WAY too big for that. If they cut down the size and added cinch straps, it would be nearly perfect.

This is my second one of these mats. I have a rectangle and got this mummy style to fit better in a hammock. These are perfect for camping in the Southeastern US. Down in the 20's or up to the 80's this mat does fine. With the pump bag they fill easily and take down is quick. Comfortable on the ground and in the air. Packs down small and is pretty light. Overall a good value. Oh, and they're pretty tough too. My son has used them on troop backpack trips and they have survived him (and kids don't ever take care of their gear).

Auch wenn die Matte nicht gerade günstig ist, habe ich sie nach langer Recherche und Erfahrungen mit den klassischen Thermarest Matten gekauft und nach Camping und Rucksacktouren definitiv nicht bereut. Da sie komplett aufblasbar ist, kann jeder sich den Härtekomfort selber einstellen - vor allem durch den Kniff das der Packsack gleichzeitig zum Aufblasen (und wer will auch durch etwas Wäsche auch als Kopfkissen) genutzt wird ist einfach clever.Selbst dicke Thermarest Matten bieten aus meiner Sicht nicht den Komfort bei dem Packmaß und Gewicht. Da ich nicht im Winter unterwegs war, reichte die Isolation völlig aus, kann aber nicht für Minustemperaturen sprechen.Für Schönwettercamper mit ausreichend Kleingeld aus meiner Sicht klare Kaufempfehlung.

Habe die Matte nach ein paar Kobtaktaufnahmen doch noch erhalten. Die Matte ist superleicht wie beschrieben, habe die Matte gleich ausgepackt und aufgeblasen. Bisher macht die Matte einen sehr guten Eindruck. Das Material ist wirklich sehr dünn, ich werde mir da wohl noch eine Unterlage dazu bestellen um die Matte nicht zu beschädigen.
