Rich and lustrous gold color.
In the photo on the left, I mixed the 24 kt gold powder with peppermint oil. But only to see how it would look as you are not supposed to used oil on royal icing decorations. In the photo on the right, I mixed the 24 kt gold powder with lemon extract (as extract is what you are supposed to use on royal icing decorations). And as you can see, the gold is rich looking with both the oil and the extract. Of course it looks a bit shiner with the oil but it also has a tremendous shimmer and shine with the extract. I am extremely picky when it comes to the gold shine. So far, this is the very best one I have ever used and the price is wonderful. I cannot recommend it enough.

Best Glitter.
This is hands down the BEST gold luster I have worked with. The gold is GOLD it’s not yellow tones . It’s perfect & the best part is it doesn’t taste bad.

Absolutely luxe!
This is absolutely incredible stuff. I’ve used it in several different applications now, including in luxury chocolate making and as a makie/kintsugi powder with Japanese lacquer. I can’t believe how affordable this is. The packaging, by law, has to state that it is for decoration only, but the seller said it is E175, which is actual edible gold. I did a ton of research and discovered that the issue is that there are different standards depending on the states, so the seller has to have their little disclaimer so they can sell it everywhere. It is absolutely food safe - and is utterly gorgeous. I’ve used it on chocolates in several ways: dissolved with alcohol to make a paint (the alcohol dries and leaves the design behind), mixed with oil (it looks gorgeous in cocoa butter or coconut oil), or just dusted on. (And while researching, I saw that professionals have dissolved this in vodka or everclear and sprayed it on with great results too.) Everyone is in awe when they see it. And it is heads and tails better than competing (and more expensive) products. As a side note, I also used the pearl powder, and it’s great as well. I’m so glad I found this!

Dont recommend for Chocolate drip
I absolutely love this gold. The color is exactly what I wanted. I don't like golds that are yellow, this one is not yellow. It is a bronze gold. I haven't tried to paint my Chocolate drip yet but when I do ,I'll let you know how well it paints a big area. For now I used it on fondant butterflies and painting on buttercream and I loved it.** Update** I tried to paint a white Chocolate drip and it didnt go well. I was really bummed because it works great for small accessories but on a large area it was streaky and it left lines. Maybe if I did another layer but it was see through. I tried it with vodka and then lemon extract. I finally used a different gold. I still love the color of this gold just dont recommend to paint on Chocolate ****

Paints on chocolate!
This is what you need to paint chocolate! I mixed it with a little bit of clear vanilla extract and it dried completely by the next morning.
