Worked like a champ on installing a new fuel pump on a 2007 Saab 9-3 2.0T. I was able to remove the original without a tool by just tapping the grooves with a chisel, but that wasn't going to cut it putting the new one on. The metal must have been slightly thicker on the new ring and was super tight preventing me from getting that last 1/4 inch into the ridged mount locks. I tried everything I could to get it to budge, but ultimately this tool saved the day and made it easy to lock the pump in place, along with a breaker bar to assist.

Worked amazing well took 30 secs to remove a lock ring on a ram ProMaster 2500. We worked on that ring for 3 hours trying to get it off screwdriver was only cutting into the ring barely budge it. But this tool super easy and super fast. Great price and it was thicker than the picture shows. Seems very tough.

Definitely worked on my 15 mustang v6 fuel tank when I needed to siphon out the old gas! Worth the money, but it is a bit tough to get that ring loose. I would recommend maybe a breaker bar to make it easier to use.

It is well made and easy to use. I used it to remove a DEF pump from a 2017 Chevy Duramax. The pump locking ring was so tight that I had to place a bar over the end of the rachet I was using. The tool did not appear to bend or flex and it is still in one usable piece. It is a great value and made installation of the new pump easy. I dont think I could have gotten it apart with out it! . I suspect that people are buying and using it and then returning it (probably not often used) which is what causes this to be an often returned item.

Worked like a charm on a 2013 Chevy Silverado. Spend the couple of dollars to save ALOT of time. Fuel pump immediately comes off.

I bought this to remove the fuel pump ring off my 06 Dodge Magnum. It will not do it by itself, (this is not the fault of the tool) you have to put it on, attach a long breaker bar to one end and rap it with a dead blow hammer. The ring will come right off. the tool held up to the force, no cracking or deformation at the 1/2 fitting or at the tangs at the bottom, like I read with so many other kinds of this tool. For the money it was well worth it. I do recommend it.
