I bought these 2 months ago and the lids will not stay on at all, they slowly pop back out after sealing them.

I like the simple design, durable materials, and fine craftsmanship that are evident in the set of bowls. I have not used the bowls much yet; and I will be interested to see how the lids function (several reviews complained about them not working properly.) However, a brief test indicated that they fit well. The non-slip bases are a welcome feature.Sometimes, when tools are not used correctly, they do not function as intended. I was taught to "burp" a container by releasing extra air captured in the sealed bowl. Remember that warm materials may cause some expansion as well and push the lids upward.The clear sheet of instructions for Use & Care of the set is very helpful. Finally, I discovered a gift in the package that was appreciated - very kind.I am also impressed by the Monka customer service. I think reaching out to new customers as they are doing is an important way of maintaining an ongoing relationship.

Really love this product. Lids fit great, and I am able to turn the containers upside down and no liquid comes out when I am marinating meats or making salads. The covers need to be burped by applying pressure to the middle when placing them on. The biggest one is wonderful for bringing salads for parties. Very pleased with this product.

We have had these for several months and the wife likes them. She likes baking and making lots of things where these are needed and the non-slip bottom works great. The lids work well, you just have to make sure you kind of "burp" them, get the air out when putting on the lids or they won't fit right. Very nice to have the lids to match, make storing extras a snap, like salads and such. They clean up easy. This is a very nice set.

I made a huge pasta salad to bring to a family bbq and when I went to put the lid on it for transportation it did not fit at all. SO annoying.

I very much like all the sizes that came with this set and the no skid bottoms. I use for mixing bowls when baking. I have tried to use the bowls for left overs but the covers are hard to get on and do not stay on, I bought these because I wanted bowls with covers and I am not happy with them. I Have discovered a fix to my problem, I soaked the lids in hot water and put weight on them to get them flat now they are fine. I am happy now with my purchase.

These bowls are terrific, and I use them almost daily for everything from marinating to mixing, proofing to popcorn. They clean up brilliantly in the dishwasher, and the rubber bases keep bowls in place on my countertop AND in my lap on the sofa.My chief complaint is with the lids. As others have indicated, they don't seat or seal very well at all. They warp in shape and have noethod to secure to the bowl. I've tried the "burping" method which seemed like it may work at first, but soon popped off.So if you're buying these for the bowls, it's a 5-star purchase. If you need lids that go on and stay on, look elsewhere.

These bowls are very nice. Thick metal, shiny on the inside brushed on the outside, the silicone or rubber on the bottom works very well on our counter. The extra large one is why we bought this set and it is exactly the size we wanted. Big enough for pretty much anything. Barely fits in our upper cabinet but it does.The seller is wonderful too... Sent an email to ensure we got them prior to Christmas and we had, as they came very quickly.We're very pleased with these bowls.
