ASUS Laptop X540UA-DB51 , Intel Core i5-8250U Processor, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB FireCuda SSHD, 15.6” FHD Display, DVD-RW Drive, Micro SD Card Reader

I bought the unit on October 2018 and had it shipped here in the PhilippinesI was disappointed by display and keyboard quality, no reviews mentioned about that, but i had to live with that. not a big issue anywayAfter 2 months one USB port stop working. No way to send the unit back to USA so, keep going!But the worst happened on March this year, when for no apparently reason the unit stop working.Had it check on a service center and came out the expensive Intel Core i5-8250U FAILED!Just after 15 months of standard use (no gaming, only office style work).When i say expensive I mean it: almost 400 $, not included shipping and installation!This is crazy and unacceptable!Even if I want to go for the 7200u I can only find online from China and still is almost 300$I'm so angry and frustrated, I saved money to buy this unit and now it's lost. What a shame!

So happy I settled on this computer. Easy setup, works great and does more than I even expected. I have faith in ASUS and have purchased many laptops of theirs for both family and businesses....not an issue with any and most are over 10 years old. If I ever have a question or need any assistance with my laptops, I KNOW the great service I will receive from ASUS customer care. Thank you ASUS!!!!

Got one of these for a buddy. Works fast enough etc... but the wifi signal is terrible, and it's literally 2 inches from the modem/router. Tried to plug in an ethernet cord to hardwire it before I realized, YOU CAN'T. Constantly skipping and buffering on everything from Netflix to live streams. Again, it's literally a couple inches away from the wifi source. Unbelievable. If you really want to use streaming video, or even Netflix, do not buy this computer. Find one with a network card.

The unit never reached full charge. Called customer service and every representative had a different approach to resolve the issue. First had me reset the entire unit which took hours. Second had me drain the battery overnight with no result and the third tried the same procedures and in the end told me that is a standard charge. The tech service is horrible.

Cheaply made. Was not impressed with the build quality at all. Godawful slow. Seriously couldn't believe how sluggish this laptop is.

Awesome price compared to big box stores, has all the power I needed for a specialty mapping program. The finish seems a little flimsy because it’s plastic inside and out but that makes it very light to carry. I don’t notice strange fan noises or anything. I’m happy!

That's definitely the worse laptop I've ever bought. The battery life is bad. When unplugged it last max 1 hours, and when plugged in it takes forever to charge. Plus, it takes forever to upload a simple YouTube page. Personally, I don't recommend this laptop

Excellent keyboard, Sound was a little tinny for my ears. Excellent display

The headphone jack doesn’t work on mine. The screen quality is pretty low.

Battery life horrible
