Not For Video Unless You Like Jerky Motion
Ruined two video shoots. There are better tripods for $30. Problem: this is advertised as a tripod for Videography and it has Jerky movement. No way this can be used professionally. Thought maybe I had a defect, but ordered two ... and they both had the same Jerky motion. So if you want to look like an amateur by this. I've owned many tripods between $14 and $300. This is close to the bottom of the pack for video. Maybe OK for photography, but you can do better for the money. Decent Videography tripods tend to be $200 and up.

Awesome tripod!
This was a total upgrade from a cheap $30 Sunpak tripod that broke on me. This Vanguard tripod is sturdy and is worth every penny. It is only 4lbs and the head is smooth for video, which is a steal. My only complaint is that the bottom hook can easily get unscrewed, just be careful. Otherwise, this is an awesome tripod!

Sturdy, good looking, does the job as expected.
Great tripod. I contacted the company for advice for using it with the Vanguard Spirit XF 10x42 binocular for an elderly lady with low vision and it does the job. Company was nice and professional. I will update as I mean to try it with my Fujifilm FinePix S6800 camera, which also was a good buy, by the way.The tripod is sturdy, well built, looks and feels nice, there was nothing wrong with this purchase.
