Unbelievable Return on Investment!
For an investment of about $10, immediately upon its arrival I saved at least $100 and regained the use of a half-dozen watches I’d forgotten I had. Because I would have to take a watch to a watch repair place whenever its battery died, pay $10-15 just to have the battery replaced, and then wait as long as a week to get it back, I usually procrastinated doing so and often ended up forgetting to do so. The current pandemic made this even more difficult, and when my go-to watches starting dying I decided it was time I acquired the tools to do it myself. I was mainly interested in getting a wrench that would allow me to open the back of my Swiss Army watch, but thought it pretty nifty that this kit also had tools for opening every other kind of watch. So when it arrived, I collected every old watch I had and found I could open them all and replace their batteries myself. The tools worked as promised, including the watch vise which was very useful for holding the watches whose backs required more effort to unscrew or pry off. While not the finest jewelers tools, they are more than “good enough” and of much higher quality than I expected for the price. With them I don’t expect I’ll ever have to send out to have a battery replaced again. Two final points: first, replacing the batteries is as simple to do as it sounds, so fear not that it is a leap into the unknown or that it requires special skills. Second, buy your replacement batteries online: for the price you pay at the drug store for one, you can get a pack of 2 or 3 or more thru Amazon. (Oh, and if any questions about which battery to get, you can find battery conversion charts online as well.). In sum, this is a purchase that has exceeded my expectations and brought me a lot of satisfaction.

Nice Little Watch Repair/Battery Replacement Tool Kit
Ordered this tool kit specifically to do a diy battery capacitor replacement for an 18-year old Citizen Eco-drive watch. It worked out very well. Given all the tools provided, I can now easily replace the batteries in all the other digital and battery powered watches in the household! I gave it four stars on sturdiness only because the tweezers are very pointed and susceptible to deformation if you're not careful. I bent one of the prongs slightly in use but was able to easily return it to it's original form. Getting the battery capacitor out of the watch was not the place to use the tweezers, that's for the screwdrivers. Only use the tweezers to properly position the battery back into movement if you have fat fingers like mine. The bigger pry tool was very effective at opening the back of the watch. This tool kit will make prying and screwing the backs off the rest of the watches in the house more efficient when replacing their batteries. Nice little kit to have in the household toolbox.

It pays for itself with one use!
Having the watch store in the mall or the Wal-Mart jewelry counter change a watch battery usually costs around $10. Well, during COVID-19, they won't change watch batteries...So I bought this little set and did it myself! It was quite easy. Each tool is explained here, and more in depth in an instruction sheet that comes in the box. I changed two watch batteries for less than the stores would have charged. Now my kids can tell time again. Hooray! The largest screwdriver is worthless, the bit comes right out of the handle. I had read other reviews about that happening, and I already have a nicer set of tiny screwdrivers, so it wasn't a great loss. But it's frustrating to know that the screwdrivers included are of such poor quality.

Great tool kit
I sell items online and some of those items are watches. I always put a new battery in them before they are shipped so I was looking for a nice battery replacement kit. This is a wonderful kit and it comes with all the tools to hold, remove and replace a battery. It doesn't come with the batteries of course but I bought them on Amazon. The kit came well packaged and all the tools fit in the sturdy box it came in. Great kit and great price.

It paid for itself in one hour
I had eight watches that had piled up in a drawer waiting for batteries. Now I have only one.In an hour I had replaced the batteries for 7 watches and they are all in working order. Why not 8? The last watch has the battery secured in with a tiny metal belt with an even tinier screw. None of the screwdrivers that came with this set were thin enough to turn that tiny screw.I had a good deal of trouble getting some of the backs on-I see that there is another tool for that that I think I may invest in as well. This product does not appear to be incredibly sturdy, but it works fine for non-professionals. If this set had to be used daily-I'm not sure it would hold up, but for once or twice a year this should be good for a good long while. The instructions this comes with are vague and not at all helpful but videos can be found online to guide you through the use of these tools. This kit paid for itself in an hour. The last time I had my watch batteries replaced (and this was years ago...) it was $14 per watch. Now I can't even find anyone to change watch batteries unless I go to a jeweler. For that reason alone-5 stars.

Not worth buying
I was excited to get this because I hate paying $15 each time I need to have a watch battery replaced. The packaging was fine and everything in the box was organized. The tools seemed pretty simple, and I was ready to get going. I tried opening the backs of two of my watches, and it took me about a half-hour before I gave up. I scratched up the back of both watches trying to take the cover off. The tool that is provided to take the back off really isn't anything special, and I feel like it could be slightly thinner to get under the back part. My opinion is that changing watch batteries is very difficult. I started watching some videos, and even if I was able to get the back off, I think I would have struggled to put it back on with the tools provided. I will suck it up and pay the $15 going forward, so I think this effort was an overall fail.
