Soft drape, no under skirt needed! Adorable! Buy it!
WOW! Perfect and so well made! I love the felt as I did not want a shiny fabric. Really cute and comfy and perfect for our sock hop. This does not need an under skirt as it has great body. The length is perfect, hitting mid calf. Comfy waist with the soft elastic. I sew and would not be able make this for the nice price I paid. The poodle is really classy too.

Loved this skirt for my Halloween costume. I'm 5' 9" and it went to my knee when worn at my belly button.

Perfect, but order your actual size!
As many other reviewers and question answers will tell you, do not go by the size chart in the photos and order a larger size. I ordered the actual size I wear in normal clothes and it is a perfect fit. The second I pulled it out of the package, my mother (age 75) immediately commented on all the features of it (other than the size of the poodle) that were exactly like her poodle skirts in the 50's! It is high quality, well made, and much more authentic than anything else I have seen!

So cute!
I wear size 12 jeans and bought the bigger size and it's perfect. The waistband is stretchy, so no issues. I just wanted to be sure that I had a lot of fullness. I wore a crinoline with it and a some leggings under that since it was a little itchy. The skirt is soft warm felt and had a lot of body by itself, but I wanted to whole poofy skirt experience. All in all, I'm very pleased and got a lot of smiles and compliments on my cute outfit.

Fits true to rack sizes but not the measurements listed in the size chart
Based on the websites size chart and waist measurements, I ordered two sizes larger than I normally buy in a store. It was way too big. Why are the measurements in the size chart so far off? Other than this, it was a great purchase, in perfect condition and arrived quickly. My advice is to order the size you normally wear and ignore the chart.

Sizes run slightly small
Needed for a last minute "costume" for a choir concert. It seems well made. The sizing was a bit confusing though. My daughter normally would've been in a M/L, but based on comments and reviews we figured that may be too small, and the size chart is completely unreliable. We ordered the XL/2XL size and just took a gamble. It fits - slightly large, but not so big that it wouldn't work. She probably would've been ok with the M/L size, but I worry that may have been too small. We had ordered a crinoline for underneath it - and just pinned the skirt to the crinoline and it worked just fine. If it were even an inch smaller in the waist it would have fit perfectly.

Love it but runs very big
Great quality terrible sizing.im 5’6” 180 lbs and I ordered the xl which was way to big. My waist is 36” and this skirt falls loosely to just above my natural hips. The quality of the skirt is amazing. It hurt my whole soul to have to put darts in it to make it fit right. The felt is firm but not stiff and crispy.

Great price!!
I purchased this skirt for my Halloween costume. I normally wear a size 9 in slacks/jeans so I went with a size medium...which in this case was a med/lg. Skirt runs large, thank god for the elastic waist band. I would go a size smaller when purchasing this product. Other than that I LOVE THE SKIRT. Great colors, well made. It is made of felt. And a plus for me was it is MADE IN THE USA!!!
