If you don’t know I’m trying to tell you this stuff works GREAT! I pour it down in the tub and sink and boil me up some hot water. Let it sit over night and flush with that boiling water and it got the job done I promise you. I will never use another brand. It removed the clogs after first use. No smell that I remember and it’s easy to use anyone could do it. Do yourself a favor and get it. I believe the first time I used this I copped it at Home Depot and I’m not sure which was cheaper but it doesn’t matter just get it. Get two actually to have handy even though you use it once you’ll be good. But a just in case is always good to have.

This stuff works pretty good compared to other brands and the cost is reasonable. I found that the best way for it to work is to use it at night prior to going to bed. In the morning I use a kettle to boil up some water and flush the affected drain. Bam, usually works efficiently and effectively. I also use this drain opener for preventive purposes. Once every few months or so I like pure about a half bottle down the washing machine basement drain pipe at night and set the wash cycle on “clean mode” for the morning. This knocks out any soap, fabric softener and probably potential hair residue buildup. A few years ago this pipe experienced a back flow from a clog and hasn’t happened since I started doing preventative treatment. I always try to keep an extra bottle or two handy for “just in case”.

This was a Hail Mary play and worked perfectly. I poured about half the bottle in my bathroom sink drain, let it sit overnight and then flushed with boiling water in the morning.It had been draining slow since I moved in. I took off the ptrap and it was clear, but there was a mass of hardened black sludge that a snake drain would have no effect on. Luckily this solution was so cheap and effective. And I still have the other half of the bottle in case I need it again.

I have badly slopped pipes that fill up with gunk. A treatment of this every six months keeps things flowing.

I keep ordering a bottle because this stuff is magic! Used it in our shower and double sinks, ordered two more for our other shower and two sinks! Opens up the grudge and grease that accumulates in the drain and makes the flow of water so much better. We are on septic and this is septic safe.
