My husband and I both love to play racket sports, but haven’t yet gotten into squash – due to lack of equipment. So we were happy to get this great squash set for two so we could start trying it out! The set comes with two of everything – two rackets with racket bags, two safety goggles with cases, and two blue dot squash balls. A perfect set for us beginners! We tried them out playing against a concrete wall for starters. The rackets are made from a carbon aluminum alloy which makes them lightweight and easy to handle. They have a soft, comfortable grip on the handles. They are strung tight and have good response. The balls are the small kind for squash (not racquetball) and give a satisfying thunk against the wall when smashed! We don’t care that they are supposedly slower for beginners, they seem to perform great for all the maneuvers we’re trying. When my husband gave up and went inside, I kept playing because, well, the wall returns the ball for me to smack again! So fun! All the pieces in this set were nice quality and will last us many years of play while we learn this new sport!
