Review: Finally, bulb sockets that might ACTUALLY be waterproof! - If you've ever looked around for waterproof 1156 or 1157 bulb sockets for a project or to fix up your car's lights, you can rest assured that these one actually have little grommets for the wires. I have personally had trouble with a few "waterproof" sockets that leave the wire holes completely open, so it's really nice to see these ones come with some proper silicone, and they don't even make it a main selling point in the listing title! Unreal! Otherwise, there isn't much to say. They're built nicely and they obviously work as intended with some pretty thick wires to boot. You'll be able to run halogens in these housings and keep the water out while you're at it. Good buy for the price, very happy!
