I don't think I have read a book that he has published that isn't a classic story. - I Close the #5 STAR rating because he deserved it. The public needs to know what the problems could be by being the recipient of adoption proceeding as a little child thar Has no consideration in the court ruling. The social worker seems to have too much say and not enough experience . A terrible tragedy could have been avoided for Noel and Macy. The promise to the mother should have been kept. It was a clever way the Author of this story made the mother's , love of her two girls reunite after So many years apart... with not even a name. A miracle for sure. What is so sad is a family adopts a little child and treats them so horrible. A family! NOT just 1 person. But, the family. A sweet child. This story was filled with emotions. It wasn't a story about one persons tragedy... But, how it effected others lives and childhood Memories. It's a nice story how Mark and Macy meet their challenges ,work through their childhood memories and face the world with love instead of revenge. It could have ruined them forever. And sweet Joette..what a sweet angel. Good story Mr, Evans. Review: Excellent book - Excellent

Touching and Thought-Provoking Story
I found this story to be very well written, as I expected any book by this author to be! It was a sentimental story which drew me to it until I finished reading it. The main character, Mark Smart, takes the reader through his journey of self-discovery as he struggles from some very bad luck times to realizing that people actually do enter one's life for a reason (which includes HIS entering others' lives for a reason) and makes choices that result in taking risks for happiness. I liked the characters - Mark, Macy (his love interest), Noel (Macy's long-lost sister), Joette (Macy's friend), and the "bad" characters from Mark and Macy's past that haunt them throughout the story. The characters are strong; I felt like I knew them for real as I progressed through the book. My only slightly-negative thoughts regarding this story were that the main character was very young (early 20s) yet he's made to think, feel and react as someone much older and experienced might. I don't think that someone that young would be able to think through what the story has him doing quite so easily. Perhaps this is just my perception and opinion, but if the story didn't mention Mark's age, I would've assumed he was at least in his mid-30s. Also, it's mentioned in the book's description that Mark is down on his luck when the story begins (which he was) and that the night the story begins was to be his "last night." I didn't get the impression while reading that Mark had any intention of suicide. The description was simply such that Mark was driving his car in a blizzard and the car broke down. Anyway, these are small things when considering the overview of the book. I would urge anyone who enjoys reading this author and likes a book that delivers sensitivity and indepth feelings, to read "Finding Noel." You won't be disappointed. And there are a couple of surprising twists at the end of the story which wrap up the book quite well. I overall enjoyed this book very much.

Perfect Gift for all season..
I found myself contemplating with the story, it seem fiction or maybe not, the character and the detail is almost unreal but in reality it could happen to anybody. The plans is to read few chapter to ease the boredness of the evening and to make my eyes tire until i fall to sleep instead, it's daunt me to finish the book in one reading even to the deep of the night. It's a beautiful story, intelligently told and well verse. this is my second book from Mr Evans, the first one is the "The Christmas Box" which didn't bring excitement to my reading in my humble opinion but this second book is full of family tradition and true relations to one another. The book will be perfect gift to giveaway for this holiday season,in addition, it is perfect for warm heart and compassionate individual. i will definitely read again in the near future. The simplicity of the story brings meaningful life of love to one another from each character, it bring affection & true meaning of second chances.

HEARTWARMING HOLIDAY TALE........!!!
Mark Smart meets Macy Wood on a snowy night in Utah which he had decided would be his last. After losing his college scholarship, Mark has been reduced to working as a janitor in the local school in order to keep a roof over his head. When his beloved mother dies unexpectedly and he misses the funeral, he sinks into an even deeper depression. And on the night Mark meets Macy, his car breaks down and he finds himself at The Hut, a local cafe, to make a phone call. By the end of the evening Mark realizes the angel the he has found in Macy, as she has literally saved his life. Macy herself also has a story. After losing her mother at a very young age, she and her sister are put up for adoption by their drug-addicted father. The sisters are separated, and Macy finds herself in the loveless, abusive home of the Hummels. She is homeless eventually, and then is taken in by an older coworker at the time...the beloved Joette. Although the two have a loving mother/daughter relationship, something is missing in Macy's life...she longs to find her little sister, Noel. A wonderful story about two people at a crossroads in their lives, who meet each other at just the right time. A perfect tale for the holiday season. DYB

Great read, based on Celeste Edmunds book, Garbage Bag Girl
I liked the book because I was interested in knowing more about her life and I feel like it was true, for the most part, even though it's put forth as fiction. If you liked Garbage Bag Girl, you will want to read this.
