It is amazingly compatible with a lightning iPhone. Your cover has to be a little thin or soft, otherwise the connector comes out with the slightest force or doesn't go in, in the first place. Because of some software issue, you need to turn on the Rode mic app every time you connect it to the phone, to avoid distortion of audio that is being recorded. You will see once you buy, but it is not a big deal. Works really well and reduces unnecessary noise. However, it is uni-directional, so don't expect it to capture sounds that are NOT coming from straight ahead of the mic.

after using few days, it will start adding noise in my video like old television I thought it will help me to create my content but it’s not good waste of money.

I have used it for my Youtube videos, you can feel the difference at “Unpopular explorer” on YouTube. Very easy to use, just plug and play. The only negative point is the jack- it is very delicate, I have broken two mics already- make sure that you use it with extreme care

Great mic for ios content creators! Although it does drop bits of audio when recording over prolonged periods of time but it happens occasionally.

I tested I phone 14 and 13 but there is some other jerking voice is coming along with sound- I just purchase never using - but other rode product I have that is good thanks

Ho acquistato questo prodotto per aggiungerlo al mio iPhone 12 pro max perché ho sempre sostenuto che un buon video non viene visto con attenzione se il suo audio non è chiaro.Questo microfono funziona perfettamente, basta connetterlo alla porta e il gioco è fatto; unica attenzione è quella di usare al massimo una cover sottile perché altrimenti complice il connettore corto non potrebbe funzionare.La pulizia dell’audio è molto buona ed è presente anche un comodo antivento per evitare fastidiosi fruscii. Devo aggiungere che in alcune recensioni su internet veniva detto che con la camera grandangolare si poteva vedere l’antivento nell’inquadratura, ma io non ho notato niente di tutto ciò.Io l’ho acquistato ricondizionato ad una cifra di circa 48 euro e così ci si può stare, ad una cifra più alta sinceramente mi parrebbe troppo.
