Very impressed with the design
Very impressed!!! Maybe I am late to the game here, but these are the only flap discs I have seen that have the threads built into them. I have seen cutting wheels that way, especially on the larger grinders. But not 4-1/2" flap discs. So I am very happy to see this. I am not a welder by trade, I do weld at home for my DIY projects. So I may simply be un aware of those discs being available. This is my first experience with them. But I can say that I like the tool-less design very much. And while I have only used one of these so far, I have noticed that if you grind fairly hard, the disc may get a little tight because the direction your grinder turns in, is the same as tightening the disc onto the arbor. Being a plastic hub, I do not see these becoming seized onto the metal arbor of the grinder. So I really do not think there will be an issue unless the plastic somehow got so hot that it melted to the arbor. But this is just speculation about what could possibly happen on my end. And for my home use, they will not likely ever see that kind of heat. They have an adapter for the M14 metric arbor grinders that is in the box with them. They seem to cut as well as others I have used. But I have not used this disc that much. They all cut very well when they are fresh. So I think the big draw of these is the tool-less change design. It will take a little time to know for sure, but I do not find anything I dislike about them so far. If that continues, by the time I am half way through this pack, I will order more and not worry about keeping up with the spanner wrench again.

Sand away with these
I'm happy with this10-pack of flap discs. They are a decent, no-frills option if you’re doing a bunch of grinding or sanding on metal, wood, or stainless steel and don’t want to keep swapping discs. Each disc is 4½” in diameter with a 5/8” arbor hole. They screw on snd there is an adapter extension included in the box along with a pair of thin gloves. Has a 40 grit zirconia abrasive, which is on the coarse side — good for aggressive material removal, shaping, and stock removal. Zirconia tends to last a bit longer and cut cooler than cheaper alumina, so for metalwork it generally feels more sturdy and forgiving. Because it’s a 10-pack, it’s nice if you have multiple projects or just want extras on hand. If you’re grinding a lot of rusty steel, prepping welds, or doing rough shaping, 40 grit is about what you want; it’s not super fine, so you’ll probably follow up with a higher grit for finishing. As with most flap discs, they work best when you keep even pressure and let the disc do the cutting — pushing too hard usually just wears them down faster without better results. They’re fine for occasional DIY jobs and hobbyist metalwork. If you’re running an angle grinder daily on heavy industrial stuff, you might eventually look at more premium branded discs, but for general shop and home use this pack should hold up pretty well

Interesting Design
I have not ever run into a flap disc with a plastic backing that is threaded onto my angle grinder. This is a nice, simple design, easy to put on my grinder and remove since I'm not having to deal with the center piece to hold the disc on. I appreciate that these came with a pair of work gloves. I can never have too many of these. These flap discs perform about as well as my name branded flap discs. For a new brand, I like to put them through the wringer of sanding some of the slag off my welding table. This exposes a poorly made disc quickly. The Aspro disc I did this with held up fine to this test. It removed the bulk of the slag in the area I was sanding and the disc had normal wear after. I then used the disc to remove rust from some random metal pieces and it removed the rust with ease. Not pictured but I also later used the same disc (still on disc #1) to grind down a manky weld I made. I actually didn't expect the disc to make it this far after the welding table test but it still had enough life left to grind down the weld. These work fine and I would get them again when I inevitably wear them all out.

Interesting design update
They've changed the center of the disc from a fiber-reinforced resin to plastic, molding in fan blades for heat reduction. The center is threaded and screws onto the arbor of the angle grinder instead of using the grinder's metal nut to hold it into place. Because of the direction of rotation and the plastic threads, this works fine; the disc stays tight as you use it. It removed paint quickly from a metal rod in my testing. I tend to keep one of my grinders as a dedicated flap disc machine, so this will make it easy to change discs. I did not need to use the included metal adapter as my grinder's arbor was the right thread pitch.

Quality set of flap disks with a tooless design.
I was pleasantly surprised by these disks. They’re 40 grit so they’re great for aggressive material removal. I really like the tooless design of these. No need to fool around with the retaining disc. They’re made of a high density plastic which I was a little skeptical of how it would hold up where it threaded onto the shaft. However, I’ve had no issues with them so far. There’s an M14 adapter included if you need it and they threw in a pair of light duty gloves. The gloves are decent and the type I normally use for small jobs around the house so they’ll definitely be used. The disks themselves have held up well, nothing flying apart or pieces falling off. The abrasive seems to be adhered well to the paper. These a good disks and you get 10 so unless you’re doing heavy work they should last you a good while. Overall, I’m very pleased with these and I’ll pick up more when I need them.

Given the price, I wasn't expecting much from this package, but once I received it, I couldn't believe the quality and the value of this set of sanding disks. You get 10 sanding disks, a set of gloves and an adapter. The installation onto an angle grinder couldn't be any easier - you just screw it on, without needing any extra tools. These should do a great job in removing rust, or very quickly removing paint, and other surface finishes. Bear in mind that 40 grit is fairly rough, so you'll want higher grit disks for a smoother finish. I did not note any difference in the performance compared to another common brand of sanding disks. Overall, this is an unbelievable value of items for what you pay.

Good flap disc, they are 40 grit and very aggressive on wood, I have not used them on metal. The quality appears to be good; however, I have only used one for a short time on wood, so I am unsure how well they hold up with heavier use, hopefully, they won't wear out quickly. The description states that these discs are "trimmable," and I suppose they could be trimmed, but the plastic is hard and a bit too thick to cut easily. Because of the low cost, I cannot complain too much about these discs. I believe they are worth the price, but I will know better what the quality is like when I have had the opportunity to use them more.

Tested in a real life situation, of a mechanical shop, on metal. Included in the box was gloves, a reducer bolt, and the set of grinding discs (plastic base). Discs were easy to screws on to grinder. Grinding disc was simple to use, removed rust and sharp edges without ripping or tearing. Overall they seem to be a good cheap grinding disc for a product that is quickly consumed in some trades.

These 4-1/2 inch flap discs are easy to install with no tools required, which makes swapping them out super quick. They work great on my angle grinder and hold up well during heavy use. Definitely great to have extra on hand for any grinding or sanding job. Oh and the bonus gloves are a nice surprise!
