Quiet and efficient oil convection heater!
I live in a small two-storey condo, where everything is electric. It costs an arm and a leg to run the central heating, because it has electric heating strips - and heat distribution is uneven because the furnace/air-handler is upstairs as are several supply registers and the sole return register. It also doesn't get very cold where I live - most of the time, the lows are around 50F in the winter. My house is fairly well insulated, so I figured the Mill would be sufficient to keep the entire townhouse at about 68-70F. I've set it up in the downstairs hallway between the two bedroom. It is programmed to be 70F at night, and at 68F during the day. I chose the downstairs hallway because its a junction point for the cold air from upstairs and the two bedrooms downstairs. By convection warmed/heated air is split between both bedrooms and upstairs. The Mill runs almost continuously and manages to keep the entire house at between 68-70F. For instance, ecobee sensors indicate the two downstairs bedrooms are 69F. The sensor upstairs and the one in the thermostat (also upstairs) read 68F. I've left the Mill at the lowest heat setting; running it continuously only consumes 14-16 kWh per day. In contrast, my central heating, which ran for 2 hours a day would consume about 20-24 kWh.This Mill unit puts out gentle heat. It is completely silent, and reduces my energy cost. And if left on continuously, generally makes my entire townhouse an even temperature. The WiFi is a nice bonus. I have a Google WiFi mesh network - which uses a single SSID for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz channels. The unit had no problems connecting to the mesh network, and hasn't dropped off yet. Having an app made it easy to schedule it (although in my use, scheduling doesn't matter that much).

Poorly made product and wifi
Wifi didn’t work out of the box. I’m a 30 year professional in the IT industry and wifi either works or it doesn’t and without a great deal of effort of having to change the router settings, which is what they are expecting customers to do if the wifi connection doesn’t work out of the box. I have the most up to date Verizon wifi equipment and 1 gb service with 2 dozen wifi connected devices. The milli app continually said that my iphone wasn’t even connected to my wifi system. How completely idiotic. I wasn’t going to spend a day changing router settings just to try and make a wifi connection work, assuming it’s even possible.

Great concept....but doesn't work out
I really needed this to work because there just aren't other similar products out there, but it let me down. I have a really good internet connection at home and this worked terribly. It would stay connected for maybe 12 hours and then go offline and never reconnect. I would have to entirely reset/reconnect it and it might work for a day before dropping off again... I tried reconnecting so many times, i looked for help online, i couldn't get help, so i gave up and returned it. The whole purpose and expense behind this product is the wifi connection and it completely failed. Maybe mine was just defective, but it sure wasn't worth the price to not work with wifi.

Terrible Stickers On Heater
The product has great design, but the choice of sticker material is terrible. Of all the types of stickers available today, this heater comes with the type that are impossible to remove without leaving half the glue behind on the heater. These stickers must be removed before use. Have fun picking them off and them trying to remove the glue left on the heater afterward.

Ok product. Saves on electric bill
It heats up well but looses the WiFi signal a lot. When it works it is nice to use my app and turn up before I get home or off if needed. But it doesn’t always work.It did cut down on my bill because I could set times for the temp to be lower when not at home and have the house warm when I got home. My electric heaters do not do that.

doesn't connect to WiFi
I have eero whole home wifi. It wouldn't connect on my first attempt. So I turned off the 5g channel and it wouldn't connect. Then I restarted my modem and the eero extenders with only the 2.4g active. It still wouldn't connect. The only reason I bought it was the ability to connect remotely. Furthermore, the unit arrived with a split power cord. The wires themselves weren't exposed but it was obvious that the soft rubber sheathing combined with the way the the cord was wrapped and packaged led to the split. After the hassle of trying to connect to wifi, the power cord was hot to touch when I unplugged the unit, which was only running on low. I really liked the sleek design and compact size and low weight, but the poor quantity control and dysfunctional connectivity made this a no-go. Returned to Amazon.

WiFi does NOT work
Looks nice.Arrived dinged not by delivery service because outer box was intact but by internal shipping service as inner box was damaged at the place where the heater body is dinged.Again, forget about programming it or controlling it remotely.
