LGMSPICY HOULI CRISP 7.41 Ounce (Pack of 12)

I have been seriously addicted to Spicy Chili Crisp for many years, it's a perfect condiment and ingredient and I really don't want to go without. Sealed box of 12 right from the manufacturer, all bottles fresh and dated Best Before well over a year in the future, just perfect, now I'm not reliant on the spotty ordering of my local Asian grocery. Excellent deal, if you love Lao Gan Ma, this is the way to buy it.

My 12-pack arrived well-packaged and intact, with every bottle individually-sealed, as they should be.Production date for my June 2020 order was March 2020.At less than $3/jar, this 12-pack is THE way to go for this delicious condiment, if you know you like it.If you've never tried it before, it might be wise to visit your local Asian grocer to try a jar before committing to a pack of 12.I can't imagine anyone not liking this stuff, but there's no accounting for taste. :-)The downside? Three preservatives you might want to avoid: monosodium glutamate, sodium sulfite, and sulfur dioxide.If you can get past their inclusion, you will find an amazingly-versatile and delightfully-addictive condiment that makes so many dishes better/more interesting.I love the texture and the spiciness.Interestingly, the 12-pack I just received tastes TOTALLY different than the large Family/Restaurant size jar I had previously ordered: it is less salty (thankfully), tastier, and crunchier.Don't know if this level of variation is common for LGM, but I have to say I am even more addicted now.Great stuff!!

Showed up intact and well packaged with expiration date of September 25, 2020 on the jars.This type of hot sauce is used for sichuan style noodles and dishes. It is not a "traditional" hot sauce like condiment, rather more like a spice added for cooking, which is reflected in the poor reviews of this product around Amazon because people don't know what they are doing with it. For those of who know what this is for it is perfect when you can't make it yourself.

Holy Cow, This Stuff Is Delicious! It's easily my favorite condiment of all time. In about a month, I plowed through FOUR JARS OF THIS STUFF, putting it in and on everything savory I've made to eat. I bought this case of 12 so I don't run out so quickly. Incredible flavor, delicious texture, and just the right amount of heat for me (not exhilarating, but definitely not for somebody who doesn't like spicy). Loads of umami and I'll put it another superlative way - this is the best condiment I've ever eaten.

I have had spicy chili of this brand for quite some time and it's my first time to order from here. Opened one bottle and it tasted pretty bad (kind of bitter). Had to throw it away! I had the exactly same type of spicy chili from a local store and it tasted very good!

I like asian food and thought I'd give this condiment a fair test. It's good and I find it not spicy but slightly warming and has a nice crunch. It's red and you will see it going, no what I mean? I have 11 more jars to use and share with friends and share feedback. I haven't tried it on rice yet, so that's my next use.

Our Chinese exchange student turned us into grandma's sauce. It is a great condiment for many things. The quantity per cost for this item is perfect.

I lived and worked in China for a decade, and this is the same product as is available on the mainland. It's extremely spicy and not for the weak. You can use in stir fry or add to rice and noodles. The texture of crunch from the tiny roasted bean makes this stand out. I absolutely cannot live without it. Packaged safely and never broken in shipping. Love!
