Bloc Eyewear Stealth Sunglasses

What can I say about these glasses? Well this will be my third pair, the first pair are mention on the Bloc community page with a picture after I had an accident wearing them (yep I’m that Tony). According to the plastic surgeons (yep it was a bad, straight over the bars and face first into the road accident) if I hadn’t been wearing them I would have lost my right eye at a minimum. The impact they took along with the gouges in the lens (which stayed in one piece) prove how strong these glasses are but, along with that, they are very comfortable, have never fallen off and are very stylish. The selection of lenses are very very useful as well, I tend to stick to the yellow ones which really do heighten visibility in dull weather, only switching to the heavy tints in really bright sunlight. The optical quality of the lenses is pristine with no defect at all. Needless to say and because of all of this I went straight out and got another pair before I sat on a bike again and couldn’t be happier with them. So why am I buying another pair you ask? Easy, my best friend has started cycling to work so I’m buying them a pair of one of the most important pieces of safety equipment you can have. So go have a look at the pic on the site, see the damage, look around at the price of some of the other glasses on the market then come back and buy a pair of these. You’ll be more than happy with everything you see, I know I am and I can only because of them.

I opted for these as a good mid range choice. I wanted a pair of wrap round type glasses for cycling and running. I didn't want to spend a fortune as I'm not a professional but I wanted value for money / a bit of style. Normally, this type of eyewear don't suit me...I don't know what it is, so it was with some trepidation when I ordered these, My honest opinion having had them delivered, and trialled both while cycling and running is simple. These glasses are absolute quality. The frames, lenses, nose clip...the whole 9 yards! They are very light, they don't make you look like robocop, and they do look the business. The fit and comfort is superb and you do actually forget they are on and I had no issues with misting.

Initially bought a set in Halfords at considerable more than Amazon's price. Light weight, three lens selection which met all conditions I needed them for, light, don't steam up except in the extreme cold when still but are there any glasses that don't. Used them extensivley off road and not once have they come off and they did quite a distance on road too as well as being used for casual use on occasion. Unfortunately whilst mountain biking in India, trying to help at a fatal accident, I stupidly left them on table and they went, never to be seen again. Got another set as soon as I got back to UK. Only little niggle is the new set is a bit of a fiddle to set the lens but I guess with more use, they will settle in. Yeah, I'd definitely recommend them, particulary at around £29.00.

I cycle to work every day, and I've had all sorts fly into my eyes, rain, snow, bugs etc. These were recommended by a friend and they're the business. Nice comfortable fit, they stay in place while you're cycling, and most importantly, you look cool. Comes with a bag which holds the glasses and the two spare lenses. A bit of a fiddle to swap the lenses over, but it gets easier once you've done it a couple of times. Well worth the money.

These glasses would have got five stars, but the middle part drop out and can not be found??

Bought these as I needed clear lens for cycling at night but they are so well made and comfortable they have replaced my ray bans for all sport activity. These glasses are very well made, look awesome, are really light and fit so well they don't slip when your active. Couldn't wish for more from a pair of sports sunglasses, especially in this price range.

I love these glasses and never leave home without them. They block out all the light, which I like and are so light. all the pieces come apart and new pieces can be bought from Bloc - which is a bonus as I Iost my nose piece once and it cost pennies to replace. They are not too dark so can be worn in the winter, but are perfect for the summer too. This is my third pair over twenty years.

I think these glasses are a great mid range option between the expensive brands on the market and cheap rubbish. They are one of the few sunglasses that fit me and are comfortable to wear for hour after hour. They last for years, are light but very comfortable and in my view the best value for money glasses on the market.
