This book is truly beautiful. The front cover is gorgeous and the pages are so colourful and have amazing illustrations. There are little flaps on some of the pages too to make it more enticing. I can't wait to read it to my children. Lovely heartwarming story aswell.

Little Tiger Press is out with a new jewel and the usual attention to pages' design, although this is more delicate than the funny Nibbles: The Dinosaur Guide.It's the first real Xmas for our child, and I wanted some books related to the topic, and with a stroke of luck, I've find this sweet tale, perfect to read out loud and to touch&discover with mini-hands.The story is warm and perfect for cold winter days: Mia - a young girl - won't be able to see her daddy during Christmas. By chance, she discover the door to the magic Reindeer Express and starts her adventure in a world with sparkling seas and streets of paper stars in order to deliver a Xmas card to her father. When she finally reach him, she understand how, even if far, love will always be there.What we loved about the book is the cure to details. The story is relatively simple, but the perfectly positioned peep-through pages and the lift-the-flaps give a sense of adventure and discovery, and tie word and illustrations together.I believe it'd be a perfect Christmas gift for children that can't be near a loved one on a special day.

We had checked this book out from the library around Christmastime to read to my toddler, and it is the ONLY book she wanted to read. We read it over and over and over. So we HAD to buy it! The little cut-outs and lift-the-flaps are so unique, and the illustrations are cute and well-done. It's a book that I don't mind reading over and over, and it has a great message as well! Get the hardcover version!

Really beautifully done book with gorgeous illustrations and cut outs very creative! Some pages have doors or windows so need to be gentle (our 2 yo didn’t have trouble). The story is so lovely and certainly timely given so many families are separated by pandemic travel restrictions. Highly recommend

The media could not be loaded. This book is just magical. It does not have so much text, but it lives all the more from his pictures. Add to that the small cut outs that make the book even more special and more interesting for children. Oh, what am I saying, not just for kids. ;)The story behind is beautiful and shows that family doesn't have to be an empty word today. Dreams are important and can make people move mountains, how little or young these people sometimes are. ;)~~~~~~~~~~~~Dieses Buch ist einfach zauberhaft. Es hat zwar nicht viel Text, lebt aber umso mehr von seinen Bildern. Dazu kommen die kleinen Ausschnitte in den Seiten, die das Buch noch ganz besonders und für Kinder interessanter machen.. Ach was sag ich, nicht nur für Kinder. ;)Die Geschichte dahinter ist wunderschön und zeigt, dass Familie auch in der heutigen Zeit kein leeres Wort sein muss. Träume sind wichtig und können Menschen Berge versetzen lassen, so klein diese Menschen manchmal auch sein mögen.

My daughter and I LOVE the artwork and cutouts of Moonlight Zoo (and of course the story) so I was super happy to find this to get for her for Christmas as well. It didn't disappoint. I hope the author releases more similar to this style!
