eCobbler Blakey'S Metal Heel and Toe Segs

I use them on my smart work shoes to save the heels, as I walk on the back a lot and only have to get them reheels twice a year if not more.I have been using these for the past 3 months and the heel is still in great shape when they start to wear out I will get getting more as much cheaper than new heels.Was a bit hard to fit, and took some hard hit with a hammer! Have never come lose and don't think they will.

These heel protectors wear out very quickly if used for long walks. I have a pair of Hi-Tec hiking boots and I am very flat footed. This means that I quickly get uneven wear on my heels. I usually walk about 10 miles each morning on mostly hard surfaces. I find that by the end of a week (about 70 miles walking) the heel protectors are almost worn down to a very thin layer and need replacing. While the heel protectors are certainly saving wear on the heels I am a bit disappointed that they don’t last longer. I have included a photo showing the extent of wear after one week. This represents about 70 miles of walking on mostly hard surfaces.

Bit miss leading. You think your getting all that for the price but your not. You just get heal protecters one pair. Bit disappointing really. This photo should be changed and should be what your are buying.

Way to large for the heel and deep spikes.

Use these on my Oxfords which have a leather sole. Easy enough to hammer in and they stay in place. Recommended.

Love these easy to fit and work a treat

I thought I'd ordered the rubber ones. These are waiting to be used.......they look absolutely fine to me though!

No packaging just supplied loosely. Could be inferior copies but I don't have genuine item to compare them with.
