I question whether these are really suitable for replacing traditional oven gloves. And are probably better suited for barbecue use only.I had a baking tray in a 180 degree oven, so not particularly hot and within a few seconds of grabbing hold of the tray you could feel heat coming through. I know oven gloves are not designed for you to stand with a oven tray in your hand for say 10 minutes. But I wouldn’t have expected to feel heat after a few seconds.They were sent back to amazon

The delivery was, as usual, fast and uncomplicated. The gloves are well packed. Feel good. Perfect fit for up to medium-sized hands. Thermal insulation excellent (even glowing charcoal can be touched for a short time)! Very good is that they are finger gloves, which are also very skin friendly inside.

Bought these for my brother in law who is always BBQ-ing. He says they are great, heat resistance is great and can touch everything without getting burnt they are easy to wear and can still move his hands freely to grip things properly. He has since bought himself another pair as a back up. Would highly recommend.

I hate normal oven gloves - they're so unwieldy. I always buy this style of glove as they work brilliantly. I went for black as they do get grubby and at least these don't look awful within a few days of using them.

The gloves protect against heat but not very bulky. The materials are very strong.They have long gauntlets that protect my forearms when touching the appliance or tools in kitchen. There are some silicone ridges on the fingers and palm that ensure a positive grip even on mildly greasy surfaces.

The shipping happened shortly after order and I got the delivery very fast.The gloves are very well made and do what they should. The protection that goes over the wrists, you can comfortably handle the hot grill, without directly feel the heat. Overall, they are highly recommended and I would like to buy them again. Not very heat resistant. There are a web of raised heat resistant lines running around the gloves, so if the hot item is against that particular part of the raised "web strand", you will not feel the hear. However, for the other 95% of the glove, you will definitely feel the heat of the object you are picking up. In other words, you will burn your fingers except the part covered by the raised web strand. So I would not recommend this product.

Item very useful. I had never appreciated how beneficial these could be while barbecuing. Unfortunately the gloves have smeary started to fail. The weave is coming undone after only around 3 uses, see photo
