Great design, great function
I bit the bullet and finally bought a mandoline just like my mother always had - and I love it. This guy is so well designed - a joy to use and easy to stow away. The blades are sharp and they sit well in the clear bottom container, and the rubber feet make sure that it doesn't slide around the counter. My favourite feature is how easy it is to clean (no hard-to-reach nooks and crannies) and how beautifully it all fits together in a neat and tidy case. I may be buying a couple as house warming gifts for friends

Great to use and easy to wash
So this is a really expensive product, but I love it! It’s so easy to use, whether I’m grating/slicing over the container it comes in, or over a dish or actual food. Everything stores compactly together, and it’s sooooo easy to wash. Can I justify the price? I honestly don’t know, but it’s a joy to use and will last a lifetime, so maybe it’s one-off lifetime price. I love it, use it all the time, and am so glad it’s in my kitchen!

Really great product
The thing I love the most about this is how compact it is compared to similar tools on the market. I have had mandolins before and although they were good, they always felt a bit cheap and were very bulky, which made storage an issue. I love that you get several types of graters with this, and it still manages to stay relatively compact and feels great quality too. I have put it in the dishwasher several times now and always comes out perfect. The only reason I gave this a 4 and not 5 stars is because the mandolin attachment isn't the sharpest, so doesn't give me the cleanest slices of veg like other mandolines I have had.

Worth every penny
I’m not a prolific reviewer. I only tend to review things when I really think they deserve recognition. Well, this is one of those rare occasions.I bought this grater/slicer almost a year ago, and since then it has had plenty of use. Almost daily use in fact.At first, I was a bit hesitant to spend more than £20 on a cheese grater come vegetable slicer. But it has paid for itself multiple times over in time saved. Every blade is useful. The fine grater (yellow blade) is ideal for cheeses like Parmesan, and the coarser grating attachment (orange blade) mostly gets used for cheddar. The green blade produces really good Julienne carrot for a salad or a stir fry. But my most used blade has to be the red. One of my favourite side dishes to make is a Potato Dauphinois, and this blade is absolutely perfect for that. Don’t be misled by the picture of the sliced cucumber above - it slices much thinner than that, more like 1mm slices. I’ve actually got a mandoline on which you can adjust the thickness of the slices, and I much prefer the potato slices that this thing produces! They’re far more uniform, each one the same thickness the entire length, and the blade is so incredibly sharp that you’ll be amazed how little force is required for each pass. I don’t use the guard (I’m a daredevil like that!) but I’ve never managed to cut myself. I’ve got a useful tip for you - when you peel your potato, don’t peel the end you’re going to hold, leave the skin on. That way, when you get down to the last 1cm, you’ve still got enough to hold on to. Just throw away the last bit, you haven’t wasted much more than you would have peeled anyway, and you’ve still got your fingertips intact! And if you want to know a really good Potato Dauphinois recipe, just do an Internet search for Michel Roux Jr’s method. You only use a tiny amount of garlic, just rub inside the baking dish all around with a small clove, it provides just the right amount of garlic flavour without being overpowering. You could add a sprinkling of Gruiere or Comte on the top if you really want to push the boat out, but it honestly doesn’t need it, the recipe is rich enough and utterly delicious as it is.I’m so pleased with this Oxo gadget, it’s easy to wash (just mind the sharp blades when you do) and it all packs away so neatly for storage. I’d like to meet the person who designed this and shake them by the hand, it’s utterly brilliant!

Best good allrounder for spiralling and grating
container didnt move whilst grating, slicing, spiralling. very sharp blades made the jobs easy and the collecting container meant no mess. cleaned easy with a quick rinse. best thing ive bought for ages. love the fact it all packages up nice and neat for storage. cant find any faults at all and I now have spiralled courgettes and carrots instead of pasta.

i would say is poor. We are using the old handle
The product is very solid & well made & im sure will last for a long time. The handle, which grips the food to allow you to slide the food safely over the blades, i would say is poor. We are using the old handle, which grips the food far more safely. ( If cutting up potatoes that is ). I do like the way the container doubles up to hold the slicer firmly when in use & also catches all the sliced food. However, If you want potato slices thicker than a crisp, then this is not the slicer for you.The other slicer makes chip stick, which are very thin. As a vedge cutter, such as cucumber & carrots. I would say this gadget is ideal, but i havent used it for that yet.The coments made by others, mention well made, but did not tell you the finer detail. Be aware, this will not cut good ships or potatoe slices such as i have just mentioned.

Good all in one kit
I wanted a spiralizer, a mandolin and grater this is an ideal space saving option without all the larger gadgets. No it wont do a family of four speedily in one go but its easy to use and takes up minimal cupboard space. Easy to clean. The top bit slipped a few times when using the grater but maybe me being too vigorous! One thing to be aware of. The bit you hold for using the mandolin is plastic and has raised safety ridges so you don’t slice too low…………. Well I accidentally sliced them off. Oops.
