The Mayflower

I was disappointed that the pilgrims were referred to as "the Puritans" throughout this book. The pilgrims were not Puritans. Puritans weren't around New England for 10+ years after the pilgrims settled in.

I did an entire month unit on the Mayflower. This book held my kids attention and the learn so much about the people and the voyage.

This book is great for children to help them get a start on American history.
