I'm now horrified that I spent about $70 and several hours hooking up another solar powered fixture that really doesn't work much better than this one. I've bought several, and they are cheap, easy solutions to some dark areas in my back yard. I have one on my garage and one near the garbage cans. They're super easy, adjustable, and seem to work several years.

We were return customers after previously purchasing three (3) of the exact item from Amazon five (5) years ago. All three are still working. The newly purchased one in Nov. ‘23 ceased functioning in Dec. ‘23. The 30-day window from Amazon had closed to return so we contacted the Bulbhead Atomic Blast Solar Powered LED, Motion Activated company asking for “troubleshooting advice”, not a refund. They immediately responded with the canned message “We look forward to assisting you”. A day later we received the email . . “We are sorry to hear your feedback and our sincere apologies for the inconvenience. We’d like to make the necessary adjustment at no charge but unfortunately, the 30-day warranty is expired.”That’s double speak for they have no intention of offering troubleshooting advice or explanation of their own products. Lesson learned.

This product works very well with motion but lights up with movements of cats and dogs as well .An annoying neighbors was using his flash light through his window shining his flash light onto our sensor light to kick it off and on. Our home cameras caught this.. I hope this does not give any ideas to dim witted people, because there are alot of annoying ones out there.

Perfect for out door uses

I have two now, these are very bright, they detect motion up to 10 ft away, and stay lit for 30 seconds or more. It has a bright and a medium-bright setting with a switch on the back, "bright-off-medium".Very easy to mount, I just hung them on small nails lighting up the deck temporarily so they were easy to move until I knew where to mount them permanently. I mounted one close to an aluminium awning, but the reflected light from the awning made it shut off, so it cycled on and off. When I mounted it just a foot higher, it worked properly. If you have outside floodlights, these solar lights will stay off until the floodlights are off.I did follow the instructions, and left them outside but turned off for two days, so that they could full charge up.(I had a competing model from a store, same price, but it is dim by comparison, and not very sensitive.)

I like the Atomic Beam SunBlast but company support for defective product doesn't exist. I currently have two working SunBlast that are nice and bright (adjustable with switch on back of unit). But one unit died almost immediately after installing it. I sent back to the address in New Jersey over 6 weeks ago and have not seen any replacement yet. Per the instructions, because I live in California, I did not have to provide a handling charge for the replacement. Proceed with caution!

I love these! No need to pre charge and they do charge without direct sunlight. I have 1 on a tree and 1 on my shed. The shed is under a tree. No issues since I put them up. The shed 1 has been there for a few years and still works like new. Can't be happier with them.
