Sturdy and works great
Love my product. Quality of construction is great. Very sturdy. As far as reviews that say it doesn't work, that's user error and not an issue with the product. I followed manufacturers suggestion on bait and usage and it worked perfect.I would agree that a 2nd door in the entrance area would be helpful but I have not had an issue with it as yet.

Birds getting out fixed.
When you receive this check the size of the openings. I had the problem of them letting themselves out after getting in. I resolved the issue after trial and error of bending the sides of the opening smaller and bigger. My advise is to take a pair of needle nose pliers or something you can get leverage with (a butter knife would probably work) and bend the sides of the opening to where they are about 1¼ inches wide. I did this to mine and I'm having success.

Don't catch anything
You can use it for a cage of a different animal but it does not catch any birds.. the quality is good but the performance on catching birds is bad I'll just give 3 stars

An unexpected use for this product.
Sturdy, well made cage. Millet seed as bait, works great. Haven't seen a sparrow in quite sometime. So I moved it to my barn to get it out of the weather, and never expected to catch rats in it, even without bait. Five Stars for sure.

Works well
I bought this to keep the sparrows away from my blue bird boxes. Need to monitor, they (small ones) will escape given enough time. Also catches wrens, which I let go.

Worried About Sharp Wires
The thing I worry about with this trap is the sharp wires on all of the doorways. The birds would be okay going in, but if they tried to get out, I think they would impale themselves. I tried putting tape on all of the sharp edges and even made cardboard inserts for the doors to try to eliminate the hazard. Haven't tried it on any birds yet...not sure if I want to.
