Excellent, leakproof food storage bags
I originally purchased these in Nov 2022. They are easy to use, easy to clean, and have held up extremely well! They’re also the perfect size for storing single portion size meals including soups and stews for storing in the fridge or freezing.I have other silicone storage bags that have the built in zippers. They are ok, but can’t be placed sideways because of leaking and they are a huge pain to clean since food gets caught in and around the deep grooves that forms the zipper top. I find the separate zipper function far superior because they do not leak and are so much easier to clean.I’ve read many criticisms about using the zipper closure. I’ve never had to exert any force when closing and opening these bags. Just make sure you are inserting from the right direction and they’ll gently slide open and close. While these do have gusted bottoms which is great for extra volume and standing on its own after filling, I had trouble initially filling them and requiring one to hold the bag upright. Then I found “baggy racks” that are wonderfully useful! You clip the bags to the baggy rack and, voilà, they hold the bags nicely open leaving you with both hands for filling. They’re a ton of options on Amazon; just search “Baggy Rack”. They’re also great for drying the bags.Back to these silicone bags - I highly recommend them. They are flexible and durable and such a great way to reduce the use of petroleum based plastic. Plus they are very affordable compared to similar options. In fact, I just purchased 2 more sets.

A great alternative to Ziploc Quart bags
These Silicone bags are very durable and you can get a lot in them. Just turn them inside out to wash them either in the dishwasher or by hand.

Great for backcountry food prep
I purchased these to use for backpacking, when re-heating hot meals such as oatmeal and dehydrated foods. The bags are strong, and the seal across the top holds well. My first try was with oatmeal - I added the hot water to the oats, sealed the top, and then started testing. I turned the bag upside down and gave it a shake, and no leakage. Once the oats seemed to be (mostly) done, I sat the bag on the lunch table where it stood up nicely. Initially my concern was that the bags would be "floppy" when steeping food, but they are quite stable when full. Clean-up was easy, and the bags dry quickly.Final note - on arrival the bags are pressed together quite firmly. When you open each bag the first time, be careful that you don't tear the sides. One of my bags was sealed to itself and tore as I opened it. (The other four were fine.) When I reached out to Eco Fresh, I received a very prompt, positive response and have a replacement on the way. The customer service with Eco Fresh is top notch. I really like these bags and look forward to lots of use.

These bags stand up well.
Heavy silicone, well made, stands open without help. Not a zipper-type closure, but has a separate hard plastic slide that seals securely and becomes easier to use the more it's used. Good bags.

good materials but inconvenient
I got this to portion out meat in a easier and cleaner way, and it's really not a great design for that.Pros:-material holds up well in the dishwasher.-closing clasp goes on easy and tight, can almost get an airtight seal.-no leaks.-thick membrane.-slim design overall.Cons:-the narrow bottom makes it so that it takes some finagling to get it to stand straight-the bottom and as well as the concave design on the interior makes it so that blood pools in the bottom and the corner, and then in the dishwasher, all the dirty water gathers on the exterior of the bottom as well.Overall, the other silicone bags with a completely flat bottom that can stand on their own are much better for portioning out raw meat. I think they would probably be better for other food items too. Overall I think the bags look attractive, but the minor (but highly irritating) issues with cleaning would not have me buy them again.

I love these, I have 20+ at this point.
I wanted to move to reusable bags for the environment, especially for freezing meat. I used to go through 20 disposable bags to put away a big pack of Costco chicken breasts. Many of the disposable bags I purchased before these were the zipper style and after one or two uses would never seal properly. I was hesitant to use bags where you have a separate piece to close them, but now I completely understand why that design choice was made. They are super easy to close and are reliably watertight. I submerge my frozen meat in hot water to thaw it quickly, and I have never had any issues of leaks with these bags. Also since they're silacone, they're very durable and I could throw them in the dishwasher if I wanted to. (I usually don't, but I have and it works). Make sure to only put the sliders (the thing on top you close them with) on the top rack of the dishwasher, or they will melt and warp. I use a baby bottle basket to keep them in the top rack of the dishwasher. These things have been great, I highly recommend.

terrific freezer bags
We freeze food often, homemade dog food, legumes, veggies, marinara etc. My first bags were so good, I now have 20 of them. It is easy to seal and they stay sealed with no leakage. No freezer burn, assuming you do a gentle squeeze to get out the air. They clean up well in hot soapy water. The only thing to watch is when you first open the box, place the bags in warm dish water. The silicone sometimes stick together from how they were manufactured and if you try to aggressively pull them apart they may tear. Letting them sit in warm soapy water makes them pull apart easily plus they need to be washed first anyway. After I did that, the sides never stuck together again. I wouldn't use any other freezer bag.
