2018 release, the third solo album from Exo's Lay. It has been approximately one year since the release of Lay's last solo album release, Lay 02 Sheep. Lay participated in composing and arrangement for all songs on the album and co-wrote the songs with many talented collaborators such as hot Billboard artist Bazzi, the talented producing team Rice n' Peas, American production team MARZ Music, 153 Joombas Music group amongst many other hit makers. The 11 tracks on the album feature songs of a variety of genres to highlight the diversity of Lay's musical abilities. The genres include Future Bass, Dance, Urban and Hip hop, and feature an English version of all 11 songs for a total of 22 songs. The single, 'Namanana' is a dance pop song with an addictive flute along with a heavy brass sound and exciting beat. 'Namanana' refers to an imaginary jungle where dreams never stop in which listeners can escape with the music from the stress of daily life to enjoy the moment and find their true self.

NAMANANA!! Lay has outdone himself!
When I received this in the mail, I couldn't believe that it came with so much stuff! Lay and the studio made sure to not include his talented to music in English AND Chinese, but the attention to the details is astounding! The box cover is amazing with the illustrated view finder on front. The artwork carries over to the book (yes book, not booklet) with amazing and glorious photos of Lay throughout the whole thing. The book also has lyrics in BOTH languages which is such a bonus for us! It has the promoted photo of Lay on the reverse side of the book, but I forgot to get a photo of that side.Inside you will also find peeking through the clear viewfinder a nice sized slip box with thick, and well made photo tarot like cards featuring a different image on each one. So many to look at and they have a nice finish on them that makes them matte but shiny. The CDs are in a slipcase with one CD featuring the music in Chinese, and the other one in English. Both have detailed artwork on each one that makes it tie in together nicely with the book and album cover box.The music is top notch from the Last Sheep of China! It definitely shows why he is the King Sheep. While fans of EXO miss him deeply, this is one way to still enjoy his talents as a solo artist. He put a lot of work into this album and it shows tremendously. All of the details, songs and overall package is definitely worth buying.

An Absolutely Gorgeous Album--A must-have for EXO-L's and Xingmi's!
Physical album design: The album is really beautiful--The casing, the photobook, and the photos are all high-quality and designed with care. The packaging comes with tarot cards (there are four different versions, more reasons to buy more than one album!), a photobook, and both the English and Chinese version CDs. The concept has a mystical and fantastical feel to it and every photo of Yixing is gorgeous, as expected.Songs: Lay's compositions get better and better and this album is my absolute favorite. Surprisingly, I enjoy the B-sides most! "Lay U Down", "Mapo Tofu" (despite the silly name), and "Don't Let Me Go" are especially really amazing songs. I've been listening to the album on-repeat. These songs definitely have a "Lay"-feel to them and you can just tell that he put a lot of care and passion into composing them. Although I am an EXO-L and I may be biased, I genuinely enjoy these songs and I adore this more than I did his last album (which was fun albeit very experimental).Criticism towards Amazon: My only criticism is to Amazon. My album came with some slight dents in the corner due to the very thin packaging during delivery. There was no bubble-wrap! I'm still going to give this album 5 stars because it deserves so but Amazon, you really do need to work on your packaging.

It’s a masterpiece
I received the album exactly on it’s release date, October 19th. It came in a bubble wrap envelope. The album came in perfect condition, except the corners were slightly bent, but I won’t remove a star because it was very minor and the quick shipping made up for it! Awesome prime shipping Amazon! The entire album is stunning! I love the packaging and theme! The songs are all amazing! Such a range of different styles, from not just “pop” but R&B, electric and hip hop. The combinations all flow so well, from the rhythm to the beats, yet still highly influenced by the Artist’s style and Chinese roots. 22 songs for less than $25? Plus photo book and a deck of cards? Of course this is such a great deal! Lay Zhang really is an amazing producer and composer. No wonder with not even much exposure to the USA, his American debut album became a huge hit and gained lots of recognition.

My Wig, My Soul, My Life.
Boiiii! Lay has snatched my wig, my soul and my life! This man is a legend, A King! Okay first off the production and beats being thrown down here are epic, his voice is smooth and his raps are on point. Give Me A Chance is a Bop, it sticks in my head all day, definitely radio material. Namanana is another Bop, it’s got that flow that you can just bob your head to. This whole album is freaking epic, also the fact you get the Chinese version is amazing! The packaging is on another level, I mean it’s beautiful. The tarot cards with Lay on them are so unique, the photo book took my soul from my body.... I literally died looking through it. What more can I say this man is talented and gorgeous. Now we wait for the EXO comeback so I can get snatched again. 😭

So Many Goodies Inside!
I was really enthusiastic to support Yixing on his debut US album. Considering I’ve never purchased a K-pop, or in this case, M-Pop album before, I didn’t expect a fraction of what I got. I was so pleasantly surprised. The contents of the album were a photo booklet, two versions of the album in cardboard sleeves, and a ‘tarot’ like deck of Yixing photo cards. The only issue that came from my album is that the front cover has a sheet of sturdy see-through plastic, that is only glued down along the perimeter of the case, so at one point, the plastic sheet cover popped off. I simply re-glued it, and wasn’t bothered beyond that. Overall, this was such a great music purchase!

Namanana
Yixing outdid himself once again in creating an album that is not only musically intricate but also physically. As usual, Yixing always works to make his "children" as individual as possible and Namanana is truly unique. The cards are beautiful, and the quality is amazing. The boxing of the entire album is beautiful. Every song on the album also held its own individually and it's really not a Yixing album without him experimenting different sounds while also intertwining with his previous releases. It was probably due to the shipping, but my box came a bit torn. However, I was able to tape it from the inside so it wasn't much of a problem afterwards!
