Cute bookshelf, but design needs improvement.
Overall, this bookcase was easy to build. Price was decent for the size I needed, and it’s a very pretty color. I need to remove one star though, due to the back of the bookshelf being so poorly designed. It comes with 3 (taped) slabs that you’re required to nail into the back of the bookcase frame. Instructions require a mallet to hammer the nails through the board. If it was true solid wood, I wouldn’t mind doing so but the material isn’t solid wood. It’s quite fragile overall, and I’m very worried it’ll split or cause damage. It does not have holes, so you’re required to hammer through the material in hopes of aligning it correctly or making it cleanly through. I’ve decided to keep the back off, which is okay for me because I have a large open back bookcase on the other wall. It’s just a weird design and definitely needs to be fixed.

It looks fine, but not terribly sturdy
The exact thickness of these particle boards are what I've seen on much smaller shelves, it has no business being in a shelve of this size. If only they used thicker boards and a slightly better design, these shelves could be way sturdier if they didn't underbuild everything. For the price you'd hope it'd be built a little nicer, rather than the cheap junk it is; but it looks decent from the finished sides. Hopefully it holds up okay for a while. I'm not expecting to be thrilled by the little weight it can carry. The only reason I bought this is because I had literally no other option in this form factor, short of trying to build a worse looking but sturdier plywood shelf myself. Better than nothing; this is my first impression after putting it together.

It's quite possibly the best shelf for this kind of money.
It took maybe 25-35 minutes to build because I am inept and have never used a power tool a single day in my life (I used an electric screwdriver and hammer). It's a $25 shelf, there's literally no reason to complain about the sturdiness or the material. You quite literally get exactly what you pay for: a very decent cheap shelf. Each level of the shelf says it holds up to 20 pounds which is more than enough for me. It's also very compact and fits right next to my computer desk and takes up very little room.It still has enough room on the top of the shelf to put little trinkets and knickknacks and stuff. I really like this shelf.

Nice little bookcase once assembled
Took about 30 minutes to put together, I did not have help as suggested by the instructions. Arrived intact, no damage and there were instructions with pictures. Also, this website has a video that is very helpful. Look for that. Between the two I was able to figure out how to put it together, I also recommend laying it out and making sure you have the sides that are finished versus unfinished in the right spots. That it’s not too bad to put together. I did make a couple of mistakes, but they don’t show. Once it’s put together, it did what I wanted, give me spaces to display items and drawers to store other items. I am happy with the purchase.

Worth the money
Due to the price I was skeptical of the look and quality but the reviews were good so I took a chance.Surprisingly happy with this product. It is small (the boxes are not the standard size) so measure beforehand to make sure it's good for your space -I made that mistake with a previous purchase 🤦It works great for what I need it for.Directions said 30 minute set up and that's about how long it took.

Just what I needed
My craft room was being overrun and I needed something to get these items up off the floor. I spent yesterday morning building the bookcase. It came together easily and took about 30 minutes. All the pre-drilled holes were in the right place. I put all the heaviest items on the bottom shelf, and it seems to be holding up well. Very pleased for such an inexpensive little book case.

Study but not worth it
I bought this a couple days ago, got it today and was able to put it together by myself. I work from home full time and needed a bookshelf to be able to hold my snacks and non-perishable food on so that I could free up my desk and have a snack or meal cir lunch! Although this bookshelf is sturdy there are a lot of Cons and very few Pros. The only Pro that I have is that this shelf is very sturdy, it's not flimsy and it doesn't wobble. It's very nicely put together. 1st Con: The ascrews. Although this was super easy for me to put together, it literally took me 15 minutes and did not require two people as instructions stated, some of the screws felt like they were stripped inside the holes and I kept twisting and they would not tighten up. 2nd Con: The backing. I do acknowledge I did put it on backwards and I did not realize until I got halfway through hammering in the nails before I realized that I had put it on backwards, personally nobody's going to see the shelf because it's going to be sitting inside my closet right next to my work desk so I'm not worried about that but the backing is small. It doesn't fit the back of the shelf very well and there is a lot of space on the back that's exposed and quite a bit of gap in one of the flaps. 3rd Con: If you see in the pictures, the nails that are on top of the shelf are bent. I barely tapped these nails and they were literally bending under the pressure. I do mean literally barely tapping them. The 4th and finally Con: This is what upsets me the most, the backing is so small and does not line up properly with the shelf itself I ended up not only missing the shelves but I ended up splitting two of my shelves and on top of the shelf I ended up splitting and you can see in the pictures where the nails have popped through the back even though I was on the wood it was not allowing me to hammer the nails in because 1 the wood was so dense in those areas that they literally bent, they are so flimsy and fragile that I was worried about catching my fingers and I did at one point hit my thumb not hard but hard enough it hurt and I had to use a fork to hold the nails. In all honesty even though the shelf is stuffy and well made, the backing doesn't fit and I got very poor nails which I probably could have gone to Walmart and got better quality nails and a better backing for the shelf and could have prevented this issue. It's does not wobble, looks really nice even though I hate the fact that I did put the piece on backwards, it literally only took one person and less than 15 minutes to do it, I did it while I was at work during my downtime. Overall I'm giving it 2 stars only because the fact that the nails were flimsy, the back is to small and the back does not line up very well , plus the fact that the nails caused my shelves to split really upsets me especially for the price, for me personally, it's kind of expensive. For somebody that's just looking for a really nice shelf this might be great but I would recommend getting a better fitting back or if you can make one yourself, I'd suggest definitely spending a little extra money on getting some actual nails from either Home Depot, Lowe's or Walmart.

Do not purchase
Very poor product. The wood is so thin that one shelf would noteven be able to hold a row of childrens books without breaking. Might be good for one bookand lots of stuffies? I do not want to be mean, but this is pure garbage. So disappointed.

STURDY FOR MY NEEDS 😊
So I bought this shelf for my essential oil collection. I was happy with the price and the reviews were pretty good with the oddball bad ones (which every single product has). I decide why not for I will not be putting super heavy stuff on this shelf. I get it and built it 💪 and seriously am happy 😊. It's a perfect size for my oils and books 📚 (which I don't have many) on essential oils. Now I just need to place all my stuff on it nicely . If I would recommend this product ? YES! Not for heavy big books 📚 but for small weightless stuff yes. Listen you pay for what you get and gor what I needed this is perfect for me . DBAKSIAA 📚😊❤️👍🐈🐸🐸

Too expensive, poor quality
Positive : easy installation, wouldn't really need the instructions but yes they come with.Negative : not like on the picture, front panels all have black trim on them... cheap wood, and when I removed the letter sticker on the side panels, part of the "grey design" came with it! 🤐

used unit
We liked the way it is built, but the Manufacture sent a "floor" model, to get the sale. How can you tell? Well, the entire unit was very dirty inside the box, there was a "damaged" piece and you could tell that it was repackaged by the tape job on the shipping box. Sad about this. :-(
