Delightful
I’ve had mine for almost a year, and it has become one of my most-used “tools”. It is so small I keep it with pens and such in my EDC bag. I use it for opening packaging, which is nearly a daily task. I’ve also used it for cutting vinyl and magnets. The mechanism is so simple, and the design so elegant. It is truly a delightful tool to use. The knife position detents make a satisfying “snap”. The stainless body is sturdy, has a nice brushed finish, and rounded corners. Replacement blades are inexpensive and easy to find (even locally at big box hardware stores).I have 18mm Olfa knives that I use for breaking down cardboard and home-improvement projects, but this little one is the one I carry with me daily.

Beautiful unit of a utility knife
Super sharp, small, well-built. More convenient than an x-acto and sharper than a regular utility knife. I use it for bookbinding projects and making boxes for video games and it's fantastic.

Utility Knife for Cutting Wallpaper: Couldn’t Get Clean Lines
I picked up this utility knife for cutting wallpaper, and while it seemed like the perfect tool for the job, it didn’t perform as well as I had hoped. I’m not sure if it’s a technique issue, but the knife didn’t give me the sharp, clean lines I expected. Instead, it kept tearing the wallpaper rather than making smooth cuts.I tried adjusting the pressure and angle, but I still ended up with jagged edges that didn’t look great when I applied the wallpaper. The blade itself was sharp, but I think the design just didn’t lend itself well to the precision I needed for wallpapering. That said, it might work better for other tasks, like cutting cardboard or plastic, but for wallpapering, I was a bit disappointed. If you’re specifically looking for a tool for wallpaper, I’d suggest looking for one with a bit more control or a different blade design.

Solves a major problem in a hoplophobic world
For a while I've been wanting something light and thin for shirt pocket or collar carry for quick cutting tasks. While I have a Victorinox Cadet and a Milwaukee 6-in-1 Fastback, I'm sick of the gasps of dimwitted hoplophobes, many of whom are still wearing face diapers, when I need to cut something. So I thought outside the box and got the Olfa. Yes, the Harbor Freight cheapies are light, but opening them, they also feel like you're on a bicycle with a rear wheel generator, pedaling uphill, in 10th gear. The Olfa is SMOOTH and fast, and its appearance doesn't inspire gasps or the installation of fainting couches. The only drawback, for which I deduct 1/2 a star, is the pocket clip, which needs to be longer.

very compact but very sturdy
It is very good price with Japanese well made quality utility knife. It is compact and simple. But when I use it, it does not wobble. it is very firm and stable.some other cheap knife's blade sometime goes back in when I use with a certain amount of force. But this one is very sturdy.

Nice little utility snap off knife
Nice little utility snap off knife. The one downside is that this model does NOT come with an auto lock mechanism. While I mostly just use the knife for light duty crafting, it definitely would give me more confidence during use. If the auto-lock is something you care about, personally I would recommend look into the similar model, OLFA Silver SVR-2. The "Silver" model also has a slightly longer body, which can hide the tip of a new blade in a bit deeper than this model.

This product is as beautiful as it is functional
I love pruducts that are at once totally utilitarian and free of decoration as well as beautifully designed. This is a sublimely functional product that is a delight to use.Why all the superlatives? Because such well-designed and engineered products are rare—especially at a $9 price point. The stainless steel chassis has a gorgeous finish and feels light and elegant, but also totally solid. The butt cap which you can use to snap off used sections of blade works wonderfully and fits perfectly with no wiggle or play, and the blade mechanism is tactile and satisfying to use. I use it with the BBK05 refill blades, whose black surface finish contrasts terrificly with the brushed stainless steel.I am so very happy with this Olfa blade. Along with my other Olfa tools (especially the rotary cutters!), this blade is a joy to use. You’re going to be very pleased with this knife!
