It's good, but not better than Nest candles.

I was so disapointed. Hardly any smell at all. I have a real super sniffer and I could hardly smell this candle.

I ordered the Loft candle in the White Lilac scent. It arrived in two days and in perfect condition. It came packaged in a couple different boxes within boxes (it's fun to unwrap!), so the presentation would be great to give as a gift. I really like the size - sometimes with nice candles they are small and don't last as long as I'd like them to; this one's the perfect size - big enough to be substantial and burn in the kitchen or living room and look decorative, but not too big to sit on the corner of the bathtub to burn while relaxing. I've already burned it for a few hours and the smell is divine - I prefer floral scents, so this one is just what I was looking for - lilac mixed with jasmine and a little vanilla. I also tend to be a little sensitive and get allergies easily from candles and perfume, but this one hasn't given me an issue at all. At this price and free two-day shipping with Amazon Prime, you really can't do any better. I'm going to get a few more as Christmas gifts for my Mom, sister, and friends.

I absolutely positively do not understand why so many people rave about this very expensive candle. The flame on mine burned high and smoked and left a black ring around the top of the glass. There was no "teardrop" flame. And yes, I trimmed the wick, as instructed. And no, there was no breeze blowing on it. The candle also burned down after 3-4 days. I hoped it would last a little longer than that...and no, I did not burn it 24 hours/day....not even 4 hours/day, which is what is also recommended by the company that produces them. Also, the scent of mine...lilac and some other stuff...was very faint. Maybe mine was defective in some way, but I would not recommend that anyone spend this kind of money on a not-very-good-quality candle! I could have purchased 32 scented candles at the dollar store, and from this point forward, that's where I'll buy mine. They actually burn with a "teardrop" flame and do not smoke, and they have a very pleasant scent!

Wow. This candle is awesome. As soon as I opened the package I was impressed. It comes in a very beautiful box. You can tell that they put a lot of thought into the packaging because there are so many details to it and the box is of really good quality. It will definitely make a very nice stocking-stuffer for the holidays or a great present so I'll definitely be ordering more.As other reviewers mentioned, the fragrance is divine. I hate things that smell fake. This has just enough lilac and other layers of fragrances which keep it from being flat. And boy, can you smell it! As soon as I opened the box I could smell the fragrance. I burned it for a few hours, and it filled my home nicely. I had a friend come over, and she noticed right away when she walked in: "What is that smell? It's smells so good in here!"The burn is nice and even, and it does look very pretty after you've burned it for a couple of hours. This is definitely one of my new favorite candles. Can't wait to order more.

Awful leaves soot every where! You can actually see the black soot from the flame! Does a number on ceilings and walls!

It is rare that I take the time to complete a product review, but I find it worth my time when I truly fall in love with something. I regularly purchase candles because they truly transform my home and my mood depending on how I'm feeling. However, I've been hesitant to stray from a few brands because I'm a total candle snob. But lo and behold, in walks Red Brick Candle, and I'll be a customer for life. The candle smells absolutely amazing...even when it's not lit. The packaging is simple and sophisticated, yet did a great job of getting my new candle to me in one piece. Awesome product!

I LOVE this candle. I buy candles often, but never have I smelled a candle so pretty. It burnes wonderfully, but not too fast, which makes it go a long way. No smoke, or smokey smell. The packaging is so stinking cute. And including the box of matches is ingenious!!! I will be purchasing these as Christmas gifts and cannot wait for the other lines. Well done!! This should definitely be on Oprah's favorite things list.
