Calgon is a very good water softener. I pour a little in my bathroon stools to help keep the stains off. My water is very hard and Calgon helps.

I use this for cleaning heavy amounts of dirt off grimey things, this worked great for getting heavy dirt and akaline dust off my materials for Burning Man Have no issues with it

I never thought that I’d be writing a product review on a laundry product - but here I am. We have hard water where I live and it makes doing simple laundry difficult. I alway ended up with a washer full of (what appeared to be soap or calcium grains - and they were irritating to breath in after I washed my clothes. My first load of simple t-shirts with Calgon seemed to release a lot of particulate matter that I usually needed to rinse several times before I could wear the items. Not so with calgon. I just did a simple double rinse , and the shirts had released all of the particles that I was used to. No irritation from sniffing my t-shirts - nothing.. Add to that, the clothing is much smoother and softer than before. I expect subsequent washes will make them even smoother again. This product is inexpensive and very easy to use. Its also very to find - except at Amazon. No other online store seemed to carry it.

It works! I live in Southern California, which has very hard water on average. This really helps my laundry come out feeling clean and soft, instead of "coated" and stiff. I am also able to use less detergent. And perhaps there is a chance it will also help protect the machine itself in the long run. One bottle lasts one month for me when doing laundry for two adults (but I have a high volume of laundry for two people because we workout everyday and use a lot of towels, so it might actually be comparable to two adults/one child or three adults) I do wish the bottle was larger because it would be less plastic waste. I do wish the price was lower. But this saves me time and peace of mind so I will continue to purchase.

Order came in quickly, definitely whiten my clothes and everything looks vivid in my colors. Obviously definitely works. It’s a must buy, I should have bought this years ago!

Love this used to buy this in my local Grocery store They don’t sell this anymore Unfortunately If you living with hard water you Need to get this Would recommend this ! It actually gets clothes cleaner And much better with this product !
