Edible Butterflies Small Premium Crafted Made in the USA Cake and Cupcake Toppers, Decoration (Pastel)

Love these butterflies! They are delicate and lifelike just like real butterflies. They are a perfect addition to any cake or cupcake.

I spent a lot of time looking for the perfect wafer paper butterflies for my friend's daughter's 1st birthday cake, and I finally settled on these -- so glad I did! Unlike some of the others I looked at, these had color printed all the way to the edge, so there were no unsightly white borders. The colors are a lovely muted pastel, though the pink reads a little more peach in certain light. The taste is slightly bitter, but hey, what do you expect -- these are edible, but not meant to be eaten alone. They're totally fine if someone bites into one while eating your cake!Instead of trying to bend the wings, place the butterfly in the palm of your hand and gently press a single finger on the middle of its body and hold for about 30 seconds -- the heat of your hand/finger will soften the paper and cause it to curl up from the middle (see third pic). You can repeat the process a few times to get the wings to stand up even more.The backside is not printed, so keep that in mind while you're bending up the wings. Since the colors are so soft and muted, it's not noticeable, but just keep that in mind if you're putting these butterflies on darker frosting where it might stand out more. I took a black edible marker and darkened the bodies of some of the butterflies, just for added contrast. You could probably do the same for the wings with other colors, but be careful since they'll dissolve with too much moisture.Overall, I'm thrilled with the effect and will definitely be coming back for more the next time I need butterflies!

They’re wafer paper so they do break easy, but all arrived in perfect shape. The flavor is r good, but really why does it need to be? It’s edible and looks good, the cake is the flavor. This is what a full set of “mini” 24 looks like.Would buy again, everyone thought they looked great. (They didn’t know the price, but they absolutely looked even better because Of it)

These are about 1” to 1.5” square. I just wasn't expecting them to be so small. There is not much detail or contrast in the color of each butterfly. They are cute enough, but not what I was expecting from photos.

These are very pretty but do break very easily! I would recommend but at the same time keep in mind to be super careful when applying to cake/cupcake. Also I left the cake in the fridge overnight and the wings bent, I guess to cold? I don’t know. But I was able to fix. I just made a plain bday cake but wanted to add a little something to it and these did the job. I was happy with the purchase & would use again. Oh and the colors are soooo pretty!

These butterflies were a perfect addition to doll up some generic vanilla cupcakes. They were smaller than I expected from what the product photo shows but they looked great on the cupcakes. A couple of butterflies did arrive broken but we had enough to spare. You have to be pretty gentle with them to bend them because they crack/break but they sit perfectly on the icing once placed. They have no taste. They are kind of like eating a communion wafer at church :) I would definitely recommend these.

These were PERFECT for saving my butt on the cake! I completely ran out of time decorating cakes (we had a double party for my boy girl twins) and with 10 minutes until party time and only having a plain white cake, we were able to save it by adding these very quickly with some edible gold luster dust. It turned out NOTHING like I planned (my fault) but I was thrilled at how cute the butterflies made it! No one knew I dropped the ball (or the cake!)

It was a great hit on my daughter's birthday cake. Only issue was that the butterflies were so delicate that I couldn't get them to look 3d. Taste - there was no added or negative taste to the cake because of the butterflies. I would buy this again.

Although pricey, these butterflies are so pretty! They are detailed and look very realistic. I used them to decorate cupcakes and my son's classmates thought they looked real.

Beautiful and not strange to eat. Very happy with the product
