Calcuim Chloride Test Method. ASTM F 1869, Standard Test Method for Measuring Moisture Vapor Emission Rate (MVER) of Concrete Subfloor Using Anhydrous Calcium Chloride This method has and is the industry standard. Calcium Chloride Test allow you to achieve a quantitative figure which will coincide with floor manufactures requirements. Please note: The measurement obtained performing a Calcium Chloride only reflects the current condition of the concrete. Results will reflect a figure of weight in pounds of water evaporations giving off over 1000 ft2 over a 24hr period. The test must be done when the building is at the same temperature and humidity.

Easy to use instructions, quality components
The instructions are very easy to follow. We had this product used on our slab before we had structural foam injected into it, so we are comparing a before and after. The engineering company we used charged us about $250.00 to install and remove this product, we paid about $60.00 for six of these and installed them ourselves....will have results in 3 days.The company has a website that allows you plug in the data from the test kit(I already tried that out as a test before plugging in actual data) that is easy to use as well...frankly couldn't be simpler and we are hopeful for positive results.

Clear instructions, sample boxes came pre-weight which helped validate my scales measurements. You do need a fairly accurate scale. It's possible to buy a scale that is accurate enough on Amazon for < $20. Look for a jewelry scale.
