Flexible and thin enough to use with trammel points
I needed a ruler to use with a set of M Power flat-lying trammel points. None of my other rulers were thin enough to fit in the slot on the trammel points but this fit the bill! The ruler is 1.14mm or .045 inches thick and is flexible, with large, easy-to-read markings, both metric and inch. Very useful. This ruler will see a lot of use in my shop.

Excellent ruler
Good weight, thickness, and flexibility. Very easy to read. the "0" mark is right at the edge. There is about 3-4 extra centimeters at the "100" end to allow for a hole for hanging. I would have preferred that the ruler be exactly 100 cm long, with either no hole or the hole between the metric and English markings (it's wide enough), but that's not enough of a negative to remove a star.

Great ruler, with 1 minor flaw
It's great to see this ruler's edge actually start at zero. Cheaper rulers start measuring away from the edge and I always appreciate ones that have a functional edge.My only problem with this ruler is that the 100cm end has a few centimeters of extra metal. There are no further markings past the 100cm point, just a little bit of metal for a hole punch to hang the ruler with and the ruler's brand logo. This is the only flaw in an otherwise great ruler.

Didn't realize how long it would be
..until I received it. At first I thought it would be too long to be useful but then soon realized how amazing a longer than average ruler can be. No more of the constantly adjusting the ruler from point to point because you can't just draw one really long line. I don't need to use mine too often but when I do need to use it I'm more than glad I got it.

exactly what i wanted
In addition to being exactly what i ordered, it comes with a predrilled hole at one end to be able to hang it when not in use. Also it comes with a flexible plastic cover to protect it. That was a bonus.

Easy to Read
A metric "yard stick" is exactly what I need for making measurements from a set of metric plans and this item certainly fit the bill. Easy to read, strong, and straight.
