PhiGolf Golf Simulator with Swing Trainer Club

I rarely write reviews but I felt this needed a honest review. I have had it about 2 weeks now and have used it with real clubs known distances and inside on big tv.First inside with the pratice club that comes with the device takes some getting use to. It is easy to pair with my phone and took me about 2 minutes to set it up. Very user friendly.As far as true yardages inside with the pratice club. The pratice club is weighed to a 7 iron my normal 7 iron Carrie's in the air 158 with a regular swing. With the pratice club inside I average 128 which is very different from my true yardage. The device is pretty true on ball flight as far as open or closed face.Now to real clubs again my 7 iron average stock swing is 158 yards. With the device on my real club it shows I am hitting it a average of 141 which is closer but still a large gap. On the driver my average drive carry is about 240 to 250 the device shows it at 216 carry. Again the ball flight with the clubs and pratice club is pretty true.My overall take it is fun, gives some feedback on club face angle and at least has you swinging a club. Especially at night or weekend to play a few holes when you can't go play. I would have given 5 stars if the yardages were closer to true yardages I hit. But for the price and entertainment level for me I am happy with it for what I am looking for. Hope this helps others decide where to spend their money.

Let me start by saying my expectations were fairly low for this product. At its price I wondered how good could it be? I must say that I am pleasantly surprised by this product! I found no issues getting started and connecting to the app. I have used it with my own clubs hitting golf balls and find it to be quite accurate. I also have used the swing trainer indoors, and it seems very accurate, although it takes some getting used to. The stroke play game on the course is my favorite part. I can play a course in front of my net with my own clubs, or in my living room with the swing trainer. The practice mode gives valuable swing feedback to help me improve my game. Overall a VERY GOOD product that will keep me swinging during the winter months.

I could not wait to receive the PhiGolf simulator. I am a disabled golfer and had hopes that the PhiGolf would help me regain some of my former "glory" on the course. I had a severe accident and subsequent surgery and I currently play pretty much one armed. My club head speed is low and I thought that training at home would help. When i got the unit, I quickly downloaded the apps and set up accounts. I then tried to set up the unit, according to the limited instructions and a couple of YouTube videos. It took almost an hour of fiddling around with it to get it to sync to my phone. I could never get it to sync with my PC . After it finally synced with my LG smartphone, I took my first swing on the driving range. I hardly swung the club and I striped a 198 yard drive...right down the middle! My next drive went 204 yards and the next 190 plus! The problem is, since my accident, my very best drives, in real life, are about 140 yards. (I use a gps tracker outdoors and I play on high-end simulators in the winter so I know my distances well.) I also could not hit a fade or a draw or a hook or a pull or anything but a dead straight shot.....even when I REALLY tried to screw up. The results were not at all accurate. I then took the unit to my indoor driving range to test it out. It simply would not sync again. Period. I am very disappointed in this product and I have packed it up and have begun the return procedure. So many great reviews on Amazon and on YouTube but it just did not work for me. Also, as I indicated to Amazon, the unit I got looked somewhat different than what was pictured. There was no alignment arrow on my unit, like the one pictured on Amazon. I am not 100% sure that I did not receive a counterfeit. Really too bad. I may try it again some day.......but not right away.

I was at the Players Championship several weeks ago and saw this in one of the hospitality tents with a special for 200.00. Sitting on the 17th tee I pulled the trigger and bought it. Arrived the day I got home from the tournament and hooked it up. Mirrored it to my 65" Sony and away we go.I have now bought a projector and drop down screen and having a blast.If you're serious about golf give this a shot, great practice aid and a lot of fun playing courses.

I have left multiple requests for support with the vendor via their website with no replies. So far I'm very impressed with the product, but it is impossible to actually register and create an account so the only thing I can do is use it as a 'Guest'. I wish someone from the company would reply to my requests so that I know if it is in fact possible to create an account.As for the actual product, it seems to be quite accurate in Driving range mode and does help to enforce training by providing instant feedback about swing path, clubhead speed, attack angle, etc.

So I received my Phigolf today and I absolutely love it! It’s very fun and great for playing with friends. I have an iPhone so using an Apple TV to mirror my phone screen onto the TV is great. The build quality is great and it feels sturdy. I wasn’t expecting the sensor to be accurate but it really was. It picked up on slices and hooks which is incredible considering the price. When it comes to distance I’d say it’s about +/- 15% of your actual yardage which is again great for a product at this price point. Will definitely be using it often during the winter to keep my swing in great shape and keep the golf fun going all year round. I would highly recommend this product for people who enjoy a round of golf and are looking for a budget option.

I've spent months trying to use this on our tv. We have smart tvs and we've used every idea they sent us. It's not easy to project on the tv and difficult to use on an iPad. Don't be fooled by the ads.
