The tool isn't something that someone who does this for a living will want to use but it can get the job done if care is taken and is fine for making a few wires. Cable tester works fine for detecting opens. I was going to use this to pull cabling in my house for POE IP cameras but the wire has me a little nervous for this use. It would be fine for normal gig connections but isn't really the right cable to use for transmitting power. Note also that being CCA it will be more brittle than copper so it isn't as forgiving when it comes to bends. It's probably okay for the few watts these cameras draw but I would have rather had copper wire and would have made a different purchase choice had I known up front.

Nothing fancy, includes everything you'll need. 75 feet was enough to go across my house and down a floor, so I'm sure I'll have plenty to use elsewhere. The connectors are cheap, but seem to hold up well if you're not constantly playing with them. The tester works great for one person. The cable doesn't kink if you pull from the center of the roll (like yarn or twine). The jacket will not crack/split when bent.
